From Aurora in Puerto Rico: I personally am ok. We have only intermittent power and water, and seven camps of displaced people, but are well off compared to people on the coast. The store which is the heart of the community was destroyed. My brother and I are trying to research possible sources of funding for what is really much more than a grocery. I’m heartbroken. With community help they’re putting up a mini store for now. There are the promising beginnings of an agroecology revival of the local economy and the store is a key component, so any Kehilla folks who have expertise in the funding or construction brigade worlds, we’d greatly appreciate your help! Contact Aurora . Thank you!
