In an effort to support the High School Trips and other school initiatives, we have an on-going bottle drive at Clear Water Academy. This is an easy way to contribute!
Drop off your bottles, cans, and milk jugs to the shed next to the gym. The shed will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Monday to Friday.

In support of the Humboldt Broncos and the players and families that were affected by the tragedy on April 6th, 2018, the Clear Water Academy community held a Jersey Day on April 12th. In addition, our community raised $1,091.06 to go towards the Humboldt Broncos fundraising efforts. Thank you to all!

Paint Night (Grades 5/6)
We will be hosting a Mother & Daughter Paint Night on Tuesday, April 24th from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. There will be a dinner, speaker, and painting (supplies included).

Women's Study
Walking with Purpose is a beautiful program for women interested in growing in their faith through a guided study of scripture.
The program started, but it's not too late to join! The next session will be on Tuesday, April 17th. Each session will begin with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.

Registration is now open for the Spring Sessions of our After School STEAM Program as well as Summer Camps.
Our Spring programs, which
begin in 2 weeks, will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and the cost is $135 per program. A discounted rate for students already registered in our Out of School Care program is available.

The Elementary Celebration of Learning will take place on Thursday, April 19th and Friday, April 20th. An email went out to all parents with the link to the online booking system.
Parent-Teacher Interviews for Jr. High and High School will be held on Thursday, April 19th in the gym. Per the previous format, no appointment/booking is necessary. Please check your emails for detailed information.*

As part of our commitment to our apostolic pillar, our CWA students will have the opportunity to serve local Calgary kids in need. We will be partnering with Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids which impacts 4200 Calgary kids daily.
We are collecting snack items as a school which will be part of a lunch package to go to local children in need to be delivered by Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids. We will be collecting these snack items in our homerooms until next Thursday.
Attached you will find a list of items we are hoping to collect which may include a simple item from the pantry:
- Cheerios (to help make trail-mix snacks)
- Fish Crackers (to help make trail-mix snacks)
- Chip It Chocolate Chips (to help make trail-mix snacks)
- Pretzels (to help make trail-mix snacks)
- Ziplock bags
- Fruit Cups / Crackers
- Any other packaged items that are nut-free and non-perishable.
Any items brought in would be voluntary and most appreciated.
On Friday, April 20th, our Grades 7-12 students will assemble the snacks which will be part of the lunches to be delivered by BB4CK.

High School Trips
Fundraiser
Our High School students will be running a
Spring has Sprung Fundraiser in support of their Mission and Pilgrimage trips.
They are selling planters, hanging Baskets, tomato planters, and herb trays from Ever-Green Greenhouses Ltd. - a family-owned and operated business located in Red Deer.
Orders are now being accepted - deadline to submit forms and payment is Friday, May 11th.

Clear Water Academy is pleased to offer our Men's Breakfast Series - Elements of Inspired Leadership. The breakfasts provide a forum for men to help them in their formation and leadership as husbands, fathers and leaders in their work.
The theme for our series this winter/spring is "GETTING BACK TO THE GAME - Living as a Christian Man in Today's World"
