In an effort to engage our community and provide clarity and transparency on any number of school activities and issues, we hold a monthly Coffee and Conversation meeting with our parents. Come out and meet other school families and the members of our administration team.

 In an effort to support the High School Trips and other school initiatives, we have an on-going bottle drive at Clear Water Academy. This is an easy way to contribute!

Drop off your bottles, cans, and milk jugs to the shed next to the gym. The shed will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Monday to Friday.

Mercy Mission 2018
Sacred Heart Parish

Looking for a transformational experience for you and your family? 

Join us this Holy Week at Sacred Heart for a Mercy Mission. There will be tracks offered:
Youth Track: Grades 8 - 12  Family Track.

Price:
*Please make cheques payable to Sacred Heart Parish and drop off to the Church.

$75 per youth or young adult missionary (includes Mission Youth hoodie, 6 meals, materials, training, mission kit, etc.)

$75 per mission family (includes mission kit, 2 meals, training, activities)

If an entire family registers to participate, including their teenagers, the cost per youth missionary is reduced to $50 each.

Student Council is excited to announce the dates for our upcoming talent shows! 

We have so many talented students who auditioned for our show that we have divided it into two parts.  On Thursday, April 12th, we will be hosting our Elementary Talent Show and Coffee House. Students from Grades 4-6 will be showcasing their diverse talents. Coffee and baked goods will be sold during the event. Parents are welcome to attend the show which will be held in the Athlone Auditorium in the afternoon. Stay tuned for an upcoming e-mail with the exact start time of our show. 
 
On Friday, April 13th, we will host our Junior High and High School talent show in the gym. There will be a concession stand and, once again, parents are welcome to attend. The top 4 acts from the Elementary Show will be invited to perform in the Junior High and High School show. A panel of judges will review all acts in this final show to determine a winner!
 
We hope you can join us to celebrate our talented students!


Reports cards for Grades 7 -12 students went home today.

Jr. High and High School Parent-Teacher Interviews will take place the evening of Thursday, April 19th - we will send details via email after the Easter Break.

Congratulations to our Grade 4 Boys that made the BIGGEST mountain of items for the Grade 11/12 boys to take to the orphanage in the Dominican Republic!

All classes are WINNERS for bringing such joy to all those children. Thank you to all families for your very generous contributions.

High School Mission Trip Fundraiser

Our High School students will be launching a Spring has Sprung Fundraiser when we are back from the Easter Break. 

They will be selling planters, hanging Baskets, tomato planters, and herb trays from Ever-Green Greenhouses Ltd. - a family-owned and operated business located in Red Deer.

Registration is now open for the Spring Sessions of our After School STEAM Program as well as Summer Camps. 

For the Spring programs, sessions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and the cost is $135 per program. A discounted rate for students already registered in our Out of School Care program is available.

Clear Water Academy is pleased to offer our Men's Breakfast Series - Elements of Inspired Leadership. The breakfasts provide a forum for men to help them in their formation and leadership as husbands, fathers and leaders in their work.

The theme for our series this winter/spring is "GETTING BACK TO THE GAME - Living as a Christian Man in Today's World"

The next breakfast will take place on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at 7:30 am at the Petroleum Club.

We hope that you will be able to join us and ask that you RVSP  Bill Tomiak so that we can ensure that there is enough breakfast for everyone.

St. Peter's proudly presents the Man of the Shroud Exhibition

The exhibit has been organized by a group of clergy and laity in Vancouver, British Columbia. Coordinated with the professional assistance of Meagan Kus, curator of the White Rock Museum, it consists of a series of professionally-prepared documentary museum boards; a collection of recreated artifacts of Christ's Passion; and an actual-size photographic reproduction of the Turin Shroud.

Walking with Purpose
Women's Study

Walking with Purpose is a beautiful program for women interested in growing in their faith through a guided study of scripture. 
 
The program started, but it's not too late to join! The next session will be on Tuesday, April 17th. Each session will begin with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m. 
 
Dates for the study Apr 17, and May 22.
Cost: $25 (includes the workbook)
