Apr. 7th, Film Screening & Dialogue with the Filmmaker - Big Mountain Legacy, Last Stories of Díneh: 6:00 p.m., Fowler Student Center - Council Chamber, Lewis & Clark Dept. of Ethnic Studies and the Native Student Union present a documentary film that tells the story of traditional practices, sacred memory, resistance, and cultural survival. Filmmaker NaBahe Katenay-Kéédíniihii will be in attendance, and there will be a post-screening Q&A.
Apr. 8th, ADHD Peer Connection Group: 4:30 p.m., Case Management is hosting virtual meetings each Tuesday for students to talk about experiences of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and to share strengths, challenges, and coping strategies. Each meeting will focus on a topic to help
direct shares, but you are welcome to share anything you like. Anyone with an interest in the subject and an open mind is welcome to join.
Apr. 10th, Climbing Shuttle: 7:00 p.m., Fowler Student Center, Ride our FREE shuttle to the Circuit Bouldering Gym! Does not include gym entry or rentals. Signing up on the sheet outside Fowler 239 reserves your spot, or you can show up at 6:45 pm the day the shuttle leaves and see if there is space! Meets at Pio bus stop near Fowler. Sign up begins on Fridays, the week before the shuttle date.
Apr. 9-10th, Blood Works Blood Drive: 9:00 a.m., Smith Hall, Each spring, when the sun comes out, blood donations drop during school breaks and families taking vacations together, but there’s still a need for blood. Presented by the SAA: 6:00 p.m., Fowler Student Center - Room 350, Paint a masterpiece, sip some tea, and learn about LC’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling at the Student Alumni Association’s Sip ‘n’ Paint event! Lewis & Clark students from CAS will learn from graduate school students and alumni about counseling, art therapy, psychology, education, and more!
Apr. 14th, Using Arachnids to Inspire DREAMS (Discovery, Research, Engagement, Adventure, Memories, and Success) - Lecture with Eileen Hebets: 7:00 p.m., Smith Hall, The Pamplin Society of Fellows is excited to host as the 2025 Distinguihed Visiting Scholar, Dr. Eileen Hebets, Georges Holmes Professor of Biological Sciences, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Hebets will share her passion for arachnids as she weaves tales of scientific research and discovery across a range of arachnid groups.

Apr. 18th, Music Colloquium - “Sensing the Abyss”: 5:00 p.m., Evans Auditorium, Dr. Maria Fantinato Geo de Siqueira, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Reed College, will give a speech entitled, “Sensing the Abyss: Listening Ethics and Socio-Environmental Struggles in the Brazilian Amazon.” In this talk, Dr. Fantinato Siqueira will examine the ethics of listening as a sensory mode of knowing and engaging with socio-environmental struggles. Drawing from a conversation with a social educator in the Amazon, they will prompt reflections on how listening can foster partial connections in environmental struggles but also reveal the incommensurability between different ways of sensing these struggles.
