Plan your academic journey with the College Advising Center

Guest Columnist: Katie McFaddin

Greetings from the College Advising Center!

If you haven’t met with us recently in the College Advising Center, spring is a great time to make an appointment! The support we offer goes far beyond simply picking your classes for the next semester.

Here are some of the things you can come see us about:

Explore Academic Options

Not sure what direction to take with your major? Feeling unsure about how to fit in overseas study? Have interests that seem to span multiple fields? We can help you reflect on your goals and explore your academic options in a meaningful way.

Make a Graduation Plan

Graduating on time requires planning ahead. Map out a multi-semester plan with your advisor that accounts for your goals and interests!

Build Your Academic Network

We can connect you with faculty who can provide academic mentorship, research opportunities, and valuable advice. Building these relationships will help you further fine-tune your plans. We can also connect you with staff and support resources, such as tutoring and pre-professional advising.

Whether you just started at LC this year or you’re planning for your last term, we welcome you to make an appointment with one of us at the CAC.

We hope to see you soon!
