Happy Fall from Student Engagement
Guest Columnist: Tamara Ko
Dear students,

Welcome back to campus and a big welcome to the Class of 2027! As we approach mid September, it’s exciting to see the campus bustling again with so much energy and student engagement already. Our annual SEE Fair (short for Student Engagement Extravaganza Fair) on September 8th had approximately 300 students come through our 115 participating tables and it was a sight to see so much activity happening out on the Academic Quad.

If you’re looking to get engaged on campus, I encourage you to stop by the Student Engagement counter on the second floor of Fowler Student Center to check out what’s happening on campus and to meet our incredible student team (Deriontae, Mary, Roderick, Ian, Sebastian, Sania, Taien and Alexis). You can learn about the 117 active student organizations on campus and also learn how you might be able to start your own student organization as well.

Stay tuned for our upcoming events (e.g., Fall Ball on October 21st in collaboration with Campus Activities Board) and be sure to follow Student Engagement on Instagram for your campus events resource as well as fun giveaways!
