UPCOMING EVENTS

Forage & Feast: Edible Invasives and Wild Foods

THIS WEEK: May 17, 2025 |  1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Sanctuary + Seed

Learn how to forage safely, identify invasive and native species, and harvest edible plants that help restore our forests and gardens. In this hands-on, two-hour outdoor class, we’ll uproot what harms the land—and turn it into a nourishing meal. Discover how to prepare foraged ingredients for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and take home tools for living in harmony with the land.

Thirty-four members and friends enjoyed sweet treats and fruit punch while a professional artist guided the group to paint unique and colorful works of art!

The FUN raised $800 for the Pantry!

THANK YOU all for your generous participation and support of our Food Pantry.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

The HOME Program Returns

HOME of Somerset County, Inc. provides care and counseling for families in need during the day and houses of worship, like BBPC provide a warm meal, a safe place to sleep at night, and fellowship for the families.

We are looking for volunteers to make and serve dinners, spend time with our guests, and stay overnight. We count on our many volunteers to make this effort a success and give our guests the care that makes BBPC feel like home.

We need more ushers to join our rotation | Help us to welcome people to morning worship! If you're interested, please contact George Hellerman (Gph2@aol.com).

Membership Commission is seeking volunteers to serve on a hospitality repast committee | Take part in setting up light receptions in our fellowship area following a memorial service. Contact Gail Smith or T.J.Blazek to volunteer for this service.
