| | | Send rev. mandi Off on Sabbatical, Sunday, August 30th 10:15–11:15 a.m. As rev. mandi begins her sabbatical, we invite you to join us in celebrating her ministry and wishing her a meaningful and restorative time away. Stop by Kreves Hall for cake, coffee, and fellowship as we send her off with our gratitude and best wishes. We hope you'll be part of this special farewell!
| | | Call for Volunteers! A new church year brings new opportunities to connect, serve, and build community. Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours each month, there's a place for you! Help create a warm and welcoming Sunday morning by serving as a greeter, usher, or coffee host. These simple, low-commitment volunteer roles, typically just once a month, are a great way to meet new people, deepen your connections, and make a meaningful difference in the life of our congregation. To learn more or find the opportunity that's right for you, contact Tina Lewis at tlewis@dupageuuchurch.org.

| | | Volunteer Drivers Needed A caring congregation is one that shows up for one another and sometimes that means offering a ride. Our volunteer drivers help members stay connected by providing transportation to Sunday worship services and, when possible, to medical appointments. As the need for rides continues to grow, we're looking to expand our team of approved volunteer drivers. Drivers must meet our insurance requirements, and we'll guide you through the approval process. If you'd like to learn more about this meaningful way to support our community, please contact Tina Lewis at tlewis@dupageuuchurch.org.

| | As we look forward to the 2026/2027 church year, the Women’s Wisdom Leadership Team is excited to begin putting your summer suggestions into action! We invite all women of DUUC to help us by completing these two tasks during August:
| | • | If you haven’t already, please reach out to us at Women's Wisdom to help us update our Women’s Wisdom email list. We want to ensure you receive our notices exactly how you like.
|
| | • | Save the date for Thursday, September 17, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Please plan to join us for a preview of our upcoming program year, a growing calendar of events, a look at how we are integrating your ideas for deeper connection, and opportunities for you to share your wisdom..(Registration is not needed for this event since we will not be having food. Our next potluck gathering will be held in October.)
|
| For details about these and all Women’s Wisdom events and programs, please visit our Women's Wisdom News Page.
| | | | Please be aware that Naperville/Wheaton Road will be under construction between Ogden Avenue and Diehl Road for the next several months. While Sunday morning travel to church may not be significantly affected, those attending meetings and events during the week should expect delays. We encourage you to check your preferred navigation app before heading to the church and allow a little extra travel time if needed. Thank you for your patience as this project is completed.
