Women’s Wisdom Quarterly Gathering: "The Things We Carry"
Saturday, July 11, 2026, 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Let’s have a summer picnic!
When we go on picnics, we carry baskets and blankets, maybe games and hats! But we also carry more – our histories, our stories, our memories – challenges and triumphs.
DUUC women are invited to gather in community as we reflect on the things we carry, the things we choose to share, and the things we may be ready to release or celebrate. Through conversation, creativity, and ritual, may we find connection and compassion, and perhaps a little more lightness as we link arms and carry our picnic together!

Register for the Women's Wisdom
July 11th Quarterly Gathering

Looking for an opportunity to connect with fellow congregants? This summer, we’re offering a fun and easy way to get to know someone new during each of our three Community Hours.
After worship, grab a snack and beverage in Kreves Hall, before joining us in the sanctuary at 11:15 a.m. for
Face to Face. Participants will be paired at random for two rounds of 15-minute conversations, with thoughtful conversation prompts provided to help spark meaningful connections. Unlike in the past, we are not serving lunch beforehand. Whether you’re new to the congregation or have been here for years, Face to Face is a wonderful way to deepen relationships and strengthen our community. Summer Community Hour Dates: July 12 and August 9. You do not need to pre-register. Just show up in the sanctuary at 11:15.
Community Hour Food Sign-Up

Community Hour will continue on the second Sunday of each month throughout the summer. Join us after worship for refreshments, conversation, and opportunities to connect with fellow congregants. You'll also find information tables featuring upcoming events, programs, and ways to get involved. We hope you'll stay awhile and enjoy this time of community and connection.

Our Coffee Crew is on summer hiatus, so Sunday coffee service will pause for the season. If you'd like coffee, please bring your own in a covered travel mug. We'll still have refreshing iced tea and lemonade available each Sunday throughout the summer. Thank you, Coffee Crew, for all you do!
