October 25th, 2024

Dear SFX families,

We are thrilled to invite you to our Fun Fest tomorrow! This event is a true celebration of everything that makes our community special—our incredible families, dedicated staff, and, of course, our amazing students who make us proud every day.

Tomorrow is a perfect example of the strong, supportive, and joyful community we have built together. It’s a day to come together, have fun, and enjoy all the wonderful things we share as a school.

A special thanks to our Fun Fest chairs, Adrianna Sanford and Mallory Flynn, for their hard work and dedication in making this day possible.

We can’t wait to see everyone and look forward to making memories with all of you! Here’s to a fantastic day ahead!

Peace,

Ryan Watson

Sports Announcements

Congratulations to our 8th grade boys flag football team, our 7th grade boys flag football team and our 7th grade girls volleyball team on each winning third place in their tournaments!

Campus Ministry

St. Francis Xavier students, faculty, and staff will remember your deceased friends and relatives daily at Pledge & Prayer during the month of November.

"The Feast of All Saints and All Souls are days of hope," Pope Francis said. "The virtue of hope is like a bit of leaven that enlarges your soul. There are difficult moments in life, but with hope, you go forward and keep your eyes on what awaits us. Today is a day of hope; our brothers and sisters are in the presence of God, and we, too, will be there in the Lord's arms if we follow the path of Jesus."

Please click here to add your deceased loved ones to our online Book of Remembrance or write your loved one's name in our Book of Remembrance in the SFX courtyard.

Hungry Wolf Cafe

The November menu is here! Please log onto the FACTS Family Portal to place your child's lunch order. Please place your order by the Wednesday before the following week.

Weekly Highlights

3rd Grade Field Trip

3rd grade went on an amazing field trip to the AZ State Capital. They visited the Legislative Building where they debated on if they should wear uniforms or have free dress everyday. The majority vote was to continue wearing school uniforms! We were blessed to have Judge Drake and Justice King give us a tour of the three branches of the Arizona State Government.

Arrupe Marketplace

Yesterday our 7th graders displayed their commitment to doing justice at the Arrupe Marketplace! They created hand made items and sold them to raise money for local charities. We are very proud of them for being kids for others! Thank you to everyone who attended the market to support them.

7th Grade Retreat

Today our 7th grade class was on retreat. The theme of the retreat “Who do you say I am” based on Luke 9:20 helps students come to a deeper understanding of themselves and their classmates in order to build awareness and empathy.
