Thank you to everyone who helped provide a wonderful send off for both Pr. Katie & The Saunders! St. Michael's hospitality was on full display with the generous offerings of food, lovely flowers and a spirit of love that permeated the Parish Hall.


Both families will be missed, but the Jello will remain in our memories! More photos from the service and coffee hour can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

St. Michael's Annual Diaper Drive

Our 9^th annual diaper drive benefitting the clients at River City Food bank runs through Father’s Day, June 21. Diapers are always a need for the food bank and a true blessing to the families who receive them. Sizes 3 and up are especially in demand but any size and brand are a great help for RCFB clients. Box(es) of diapers can be dropped in the baskets at the back of the church on Sundays or delivered to the church throughout the week during office hours. Checks or cash can be mailed or dropped in the collection plate on Sundays (please note Diapers in the memo) or online donations can be made below. As always thank you for your care and support for our neighbors in need.

St. Michael’s INDOOR YARD SALE is scheduled for:

Newcomer Welcome Program and Lunch

Sunday, July 26 after service

Stick around in the church after our regular 10am service for a welcome from Rev. Megan, followed by an "Episcopal 101" led by Father Rod. During this program we will get an overview of the symbols and art in our sanctuary and their connection to our Episcopal teachings. Visitors and those new to our membership are invited to attend.

Leaders of our different ministries will also be on hand to provide information on the various ways you may connect with others, broaden your spiritual education, and serve our community. Bella Bru will be providing a catered lunch afterward. Please RSVP here.

Education for Ministry has two options

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a program of theological study provided by the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

The study is done in a seminar class which meets once a week throughout the academic year, about 36 weeks, under the guidance of trained mentors. This is a small “community” of learners studying together.

There are two options for study:

EfM Classic

The 50-year-old program of four years, one year at a time, is rebranded as “EfM: Classic.” It is only offered, as it has always been, by accredited mentors. The four years are:

• Year 1: Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament)
• Year 2: Christian Scriptures (New Testament)
• Year 3: Church History
• Year 4: Christian Ethics and Spirituality

EfM: Wide Angle

This new class is a 1 year offering for those who wish to have a “taste of all four years in one year.” Wide Angle participants join with the EfM: Classic group. EfM Wide Angle can only be offered by accredited mentors.

We will be having a Celebration of Life Service for Liz Glad on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11am at the church with a reception immediately following in the Parish & Johnstone Hall.

We will be having a Celebration of Life Service for Dave Jones on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 1pm at the church with a reception immediately following. 

We will be having a Celebration of Life Service for Lesle Rea on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 4pm at the church with a reception immediately following in the iMast courtyard area.

Prayers for Pregnant Women & Their Babies

We have an ongoing relationship with the Episcopal Sisters at the Order of Julian of Norwich monastery who pray daily for pregnant women and their babies. If you have name(s) of loved one(s) who are expecting that you would like to have included in the sisters' prayers, please email Fr. Rod.

Giving Thanks with Flowers!

You can remember your loved ones and celebrate important moments in your life with the gift of flowers to the church.  If you would like to give in this way, please let the office know and what you would like to give thanks for in the bulletin. You can send a check (or drop it off) to the office or pay on-line.  

Mercy and Social Justice Committee

The Mercy and Social Justice Committee exists to provide St. Michael’s parishioners with opportunities to share God’s love and justice.  We accomplish this by offering parishioners several ways to participate in outreach to our most vulnerable and marginalized neighbors. The Committee: Meets 7 – 8pm on the following evenings May 4th, June 1st, August 3rd, September 8th, and 

November 2nd. See Terry Bridges if you are interested in attending as a guest.

Name Tags

Name tags are available at Sunday morning check in's on the greeter cart. Please be sure to grab and wear your name tag before the service. If you are in need of a name tag please let the office know.

St. Michael's Hours

Office Hours: Monday through Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm

Sanctuary, Columbarium and Courtyard are open during office hours. Please let the office know you will be coming. Call 916.488.3550 or email.
