We will be discussing upcoming projects, including the Strawberry Festival.
Volunteers of all ages and all levels of gardening experience needed!

St. Christopher’s Crops is our vegetable garden that has provided fresh vegetables to local food pantries for the last 11 years. This spring will be the twelfth gardening season. Karen and Warren Gartner, who have led the Garden Team since its beginning in 2007, will be moving to Montana and we have giant boots to fill.

The Garden Team plans the garden during the winter. In April, volunteers plant seeds indoors under grow lights to start plants for the garden. In early May we have a work day to prepare the beds for planting and in mid-May we bless and plant the garden. Three times a week during the summer months volunteers water, weed, harvest and deliver the vegetables. In the fall we have a work day to put the garden to bed.

Please consider helping with this wonderful ministry. For more information about the garden crew, join us March 18 at 9:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall, or contact ann.niednagel@gmail.com.

Please join us for the Come Hoop It Up Potluck on Sunday, March 18. This event for all ages will include food, fun, fellowship, and the college basketball playoffs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sign-ups and more information will be available after the 10:00 a.m. services on Sundays, March 11 and 18.
