Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Sunday
April 21, 12:15 pm
We will host an Easter Egg Hunt, for children age three through fifth grade, following the 11:00 am Festival Eucharist on the front lawn of the church (weather permitting).

Please note the new timing for this event.
Attention: Parents of children, age three to fifth grade

On Sunday, April 28, at 11:15 am, there will be a meeting to capture the pulse of our parents concerning their children's faith formation and to prioritize the aspects of Christian education you value most.

We will lead the discussion in room 201 (across the hall from the Godly Discoveries room) which will last 45 minutes to an hour with child care provided. Your Faith Formation Team led by Cathy Scott, Mother Kathy Thomas, and Chris Jacobs look forward to your participation. If you cannot attend, a survey will follow the meeting to gather your thoughts and opinions.

Please RSVP to Cathy Scott,
This gardening crew could include you!
St. Christopher’s Crops has something for everyone when it comes to preparing, planting, and harvesting our garden. As a multigenerational endeavor, we work to bring produce to local food pantries and our own Summer Food Program at St. Christopher’s. You can give a little or a great deal of dedicated time to helping in the many tasks that make our vegetables grow. Together we are a food ministry to others.

We have many levels of contribution. For those who might not be confident in their physical abilities to garden - like bending and stooping - think about being a Distribution Volunteer to deliver items to the food pantries and our church food program. Or consider being a team leader or a volunteer in a work crew that will tend the garden one day per week for one month. These are the hands that weed, watch for pests, and harvest our crops when they are ready for delivery.

We will soon need “all hands on deck” as it is almost time to prepare, plant, and later close the garden. Add these dates to your calendar and join the work of St. Christopher’s Crops:

Preparation Day - Saturday, May 4, 9:00 am until finished

Planting Day with Lunch – Sunday, May 19, 11:30 am until finished

Closing Day – Saturday, September 28, 9:00 am until finished

Copies of volunteer descriptions are located in the Welcome Center and online on the St. Christopher's Crops page of the website. Contact our Garden Leader, Ed Russell, at or phone/text to 317-379-8633 for any inquiries or questions. Ed will gladly address all questions and help you get dirty for goodness sake!
