Common Grounds: Adult Formation Forum
Lenten Study, Life Transformed: The Way of Love in Lent
Sunday, April 7, 9:00 - 9:45 am
In the Parish Hall - Coffee will be served
The Way of Love in Lent continues in Common Grounds on Sunday, April 7, with the lesson entitled “Go: The Empty Tomb.” Terry Suttner will lead the lesson that invites us to “go” to join God’s mission of border-crossing, transformation, and healing. This study is about visiting the tomb of Jesus and entering the world as one who will live a Jesus-centered life.

All adults are invited to attend Common Grounds adult formation classes. Each lesson is dedicated to a major focus to live a Jesus-Centered Life during Lent and the material provides practices to guide you during the coming week. You need not attend every forum to benefit from the lessons.

Common Grounds will not meet on Palm Sunday, April 14, and Easter, April 21.
Children's and Youth Formation

There will be no Children's or Youth Formation on Sunday, April 7. Many of our families and teachers are away for spring break. Formation will resume on April 14.
Ushers Needed for Holy Week and
the Second Sunday of Easter
A big thank you for those who responded to last week's appeal for ushers. As a result, the Good Friday noon service and all Easter Day services have a full complement of ushers. One person has volunteered for the Maundy Thursday evening service. (Applause)
We still need the following:
  • Palm Sunday, April 14, 10:00 am - 2 persons
  • Maundy Thursday, April 18, 7:00 pm - 1 person
  • Good Friday, April 19, 12 Noon - 2 persons

  • Second Sunday of Easter, April 28, 10:00 am - 2 persons

Please call Anita at the church office (317-846-8716) or Fr. Larry (317-671-5319) if you are able to serve as an usher for any of the remaining worship services listed above.

The Worship Ministry
One of the Seven Ministries

"The perfect church service would be the one we were almost unaware of; our attention would have been on God.” – C.S. Lewis

The purpose of the Worship Ministry is to have worship services that are vital, alive, energized with God’s presence, and attended by an active and participating congregation. One of the primary goals is that worship fosters community, on Sunday morning and beyond. The committee works with the Rector, the Director of Music, and other church organizations/guilds that facilitate various elements of worship to achieve this goal. These include the following, each listed with contact information:

Baptism, funerals, and weddings also fall within the Worship Ministry.

Martha Weissert, in her role as leader of the Worship Ministry, works together with the Rector and others in this group to coordinate and facilitate our worship services. if you have questions or want to be involved in this ministry, contact Martha at either 317-319-1592 or
Maundy Thursday Vigil

The hours are divided into two shifts: Thursday, April 18, 9:00 pm - 2:00 am; Friday, April 19, 2:00 am - 7:00 am. All you need do is be watchful as individuals enter and exit the building.
Easter Flowers and Music Fund Gifts
