Rally Day is Coming – Theme Reveal!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 7 as we kick off the fall season of worship, learning, service, and fellowship.

This fall's theme is “Walk in the Way of Life”—a call from God’s Word to choose the path of faithful discipleship, rooted in Scripture and shaped by Christ’s love.

We’ll gather for our 9:30am worship service, exploring what it means to “choose life” in Deuteronomy and to “count the cost” in Luke’s gospel. In worship, we’ll bless teachers and students in our congregation and commission our Children’s Church leaders for the year ahead.

After worship, join us in Fellowship Hall for a good old-fashioned Lutheran potluck brunch, a ministry roundup with opportunities to serve this fall, and conversation starter cards that invite us to dream together about our church’s future—especially as we prepare for our 65th Anniversary Celebration!

Rally Day is a time to reconnect, recommit, and step forward together in faith as we finish out the church year. Come walk in the way of life with us!

Tenth Sunday after Pentecost

This week’s readings remind us that God’s Word can disrupt before it restores. In Luke 12, Jesus says, “I have not come to bring peace, but division.”

We’ll explore how:

  • God’s Word refines like fire (Jeremiah 23)
  • We’re called to persevere in faith (Hebrews 11–12)
  • The Kingdom transforms through truth, even when it divides (Luke 12)

Following Christ may not make life easier—but it leads us deeper into God’s life-giving promise.
