There will be a Live Nativity in the Sanctuary Sunday evening, December 21

Afterwards, we will enjoy light refreshments in the elevator lobby.

GROW

Make plans to join Pastor Ed for this year's Advent study based on the writings of the prophet Habakkuk. As we prepare for the arrival of Jesus the Christ, we will look at how God says the saving and changing of lives will happen, helping us to reflect on the meaning of the season. The study will run for 3 weeks on Wednesdays beginning December 3, from noon to 1pm in the Banquet Room. This will be a lunch and learn study and the cost for lunch is $5 each week. Please call to sign up.

SERVE

Thank you for your continued support--$$ and food items--

of this ministry of WPFUMC!

Serve with our Children & Youth!

In the UMC Baptismal Covenant, we are challenged to nurture our kids and students in the life of the Church and the Christian faith. Studies show it takes at least 5 adults beyond their parents to help nurture young people into a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

Be a part of passing down faith to the

next generation by serving with Children or Youth on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Call the church office or see Pastor Ed to volunteer!

Random Thoughts

Waiting

We sing, and plan

and watch the date,

and write some cards…

and wait and wait.

We look for presents

at the store,

and make some, too…

and wait some more.

We wrap our gifts

and tie them straight,

and frost some cookies

on a plate,

and get a tree

to decorate,

but most of all

we wait…and wait.
