Congratulations to our February Students of the Month!

Pro-Life March 2026

All SFHS students are invited to join their fellow Spartans and SFHS staff for the Illinois Pro-Life March on Tuesday, March 19, at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield.


Schedule for the day:

  • 6:00 a.m. Board bus/depart SFHS
  • 10:00 a.m. Mass in Springfield
  • 11:30 a.m. Arrive at State Capitol & Lunch (pack your own)
  • 1:00 p.m. Rally and march at State Capitol
  • 2:45-3:00 p.m. Board bus/depart Springfield
  • 6:00 p.m. Return to SFHS


Participants should plan to join us for a MANDATORY Preparation Session after school on Tuesday, March 12 in Room 1203. Participants can count 5 service hours for the Preparation Session, March, and Rally.

Welcome, Nate Dell!

Please welcome Nate Dell to the St. Francis High School family! Nate is our new Head Boys and Girls Tennis Coach and comes to SFHS with more than 10 years of coaching experience as a tennis professional at the Oak Park & River Forest Country Club, the Eastern Hills Club, and as an assistant junior director in the Elite Program at the Salt Creek Country Club in Hinsdale.


Nate was also an NCAA Division 1 Tennis student-athlete at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Please welcome Nate when you see him this spring!

Coffee with the Counselors - Junior Parents

Junior parents are invited to join the Counseling Department for an information session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, in the Rosmonowski Room.

Mother-Son Brunch - Deadline Today!

World Language Honor Societies

The World Language National Honor Societies commend students for their dedication and high achievement in Chinese, French, and Spanish. All information about each language’s honor society is located in mySFHS within the Resource Board. Please read all bylaws carefully before completing an application.


All applications are due Friday, March 6, to the corresponding Chapter Advisor. 

Contact the Chapter Advisors with any questions: Ms. Wen (Chinese NHS), Mrs. Nicolella (French NHS), and Ms. Barclay (Spanish NHS). The induction ceremony is 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15. Current members who are graduating seniors are invited to be recognized at the event.

Project Park Safely

Out of appreciation for current parents making a major gift commitment, we are offering the following options to ensure your child has an onsite parking space during the school day at the following levels. These spots will also be exempt from any parking fees that may be in place in the upcoming years:

  • $3,000: Spot for one year
  • $5,000: Spot for two years
  • $10,000: Spot for three years


We will continue to share more detailed information about the future of parking at SFHS as it becomes available.

Service Opportunity: Please consider committing to cook individually packaged meals with family or friends for those who access DuPage PADS Interim Housing Center. Residents do not have access to full kitchens and rely on volunteers to provide meals. To learn more and access a calendar to sign up for a day to cook, click here.
