Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week starts Monday, March 16 at SFHS! This year's theme is "Mental Health Matters: Show Up with Kindness & Support for Yourself and Each Other."


We hope all students will join us for the fun activities, service projects, and dress down days throughout the week!

School Celebrations

Congratulations to the SFHS Music Department, which took 2nd Overall at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Competition on Saturday, March 7, at Reavis High School in Burbank!


In their respective divisions, the SFHS Choir finished 1st, Band finished 3rd, and Orchestra finished 4th. This is the 7th consecutive year choir has placed first!

Last weekend, the SFHS Robotics Team competed at the State Tournament and finished 19-7 in official play and is ranked in the top 7% in the world!


Additionally, Junior Kate Reidenbach won the Illinois FIRST Leadership Award. Having also won in 2025, she becomes the first two-time winner in the state! She is one of four individuals from Illinois advancing to the World Championships in Houston at the end of April. Congratulations to all!

Class of 2026 - Graduation Tile

The Class of 2026 Graduation Liturgy and Commencement is 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 17, in the Spyglass Athletic Center. Detailed information is now posted in mySFHS within the Resource Board in the Class of 2026 tile.

Senior Celebration Tile

The Senior Celebration is a parent-planned event created to give seniors an unforgettable send-off before they set sail toward their next chapter. The information is kept secret from students until they receive their official invitation after the All-School Liturgy on April 23.


The Senior Celebration Tile is now live in mySFHS within the Resource Board. Senior parents are asked to review the tile for event details, registration information, permission slips, volunteer opportunities, deadlines for memory lane submissions, and more.


Only parents can access the tile...please keep the information secret from students!

Pro-Life March - Thursday, March 19

All students are invited to join their fellow Spartans and SFHS staff for the Illinois Pro-Life March on Thursday, March 19, at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield. If your student would like to attend but missed the training session on March 12, please contact Michael Page at mpage@sfhscollegeprep.org.


Participants can count 5 service hours for the Preparation Session, March, and Rally.

Spring Musical

Tickets for the Spring Musical, The Hello Girls, are on sale now!


Performance Details: 

  • Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 21 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Fathers' Club - March Madness

Fathers' Club is hosting a watch party during the first round of the NCAA Tournament from 6:30-10:30 p.m., Thursday, March 19, at Warren's Ale House, 51 Town Square, Wheaton. Food buffet provided plus exciting raffle prizes, including Cubs and Bears jerseys!

Easter Egg Hunt

Dust off your Easter baskets and get ready for a morning of pure springtime magic! Join our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Kuhn Memorial Field. All are welcome to join the fun and admission is free!


We'll have eggs filled with treasures just waiting to be found throughout the game field, and donuts to help kickstart the morning. Facepainting and balloon-making will also be offered and get ready for a celebrity sighting...the Easter Bunny is joining us!

Project Park Safely

Out of appreciation for current parents making a major gift commitment, we are offering the following options to ensure your child has an onsite parking space during the school day at the following levels. These spots will also be exempt from any parking fees that may be in place in the upcoming years:

  • $3,000: Spot for one year
  • $5,000: Spot for two years
  • $10,000: Spot for three years


We will continue to share more detailed information about the future of parking at SFHS as it becomes available.

Service Opportunity: Please consider committing to cook individually packaged meals with family or friends for those who access DuPage PADS Interim Housing Center. Residents do not have access to full kitchens and rely on volunteers to provide meals. To learn more and access a calendar to sign up for a day to cook, click here.


Opt-In for Text Messages: In the event of an inclement weather schedule change or emergency, we send text message notifications to parents in addition to an email and phone call.
