SALT Applications - Now Open!

The Student Ambassador Leadership Team (SALT) Application for the 2026-2027 school year is open! Students 9th-11th grade interested in applying must review and complete the necessary requirements in mySFHS within the Resource Board in the “SALT Application” tile.

 

The application deadline is ThursdayApril 16, by 3:30 p.m. The SALT Application Signature Page and Student Questionnaire document must be submitted to SALT Moderators Mr. Jacobsen, Mrs. Wiborg, or Mrs. Dannheim in the Main Office. While you can complete the application electronically, it must be printed to hand in.


Both applicant and a parent must sign the signature page for the application to be considered complete. Handwritten signatures only, please. Decisions are emailed Wednesday, April 29, between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m.

2025 K-12 Tax Receipts

2025 K-12 Tax Receipts: Parents can access and print 2025 tax receipts for qualified K-12 educational expenses directly via FACTS Tuition Management by following these steps. If you need assistance with the website or logging in, call FACTS at (866) 441-4637.

  • Login to online.factsmgt.com
  • Click on VIEW DETAILS
  • Click on VIEW PAYMENT SUMMARY
  • Print your statement by clicking on the print icon in the upper right-hand corner

World Language - France & Spain Trip 2027

Current sophomores and juniors interested in traveling to France and Spain next summer with their classmates and the World Language Department are invited to attend the France & Spain Trip Information Meeting with their parents at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, in the Kuhn Cultural Arts Center.

 

Trip Information: Embark on the ultimate European adventure that blends adventure, history, and vibrant cultures on June 15, 2027! Start in Spain’s lively capital, Madrid, where you’ll explore grand plazas, royal palaces, and world-renowned city life. Then, head to Barcelona to marvel at the iconic Sagrada Familia, before enjoying free time to dive into the city’s food, culture, and local pastimes. Cross into France to discover ancient Roman wonders in Provence, including the incredible Pont du Gard aqueduct, before heading to Paris for iconic sights like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame. With breathtaking scenery, local cuisine, and one-of-a-kind experiences, this trip is packed with unforgettable experiences!

Prom Information

Ticket sales for this year's Prom open Tuesday, April 7, and close the following Tuesday, April 14. Prom is Saturday, May 2, at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and tickets are $180 per person. Busses leave from SFHS at 6:00 p.m. (arrive by 5:45 p.m.) and prom ends at 11:00 p.m. with return to SFHS at approximately midnight. More information will become available in mySFHS within the Resource Board after Spring Break.

Class of 2029 Grandparents' Day

Grandparents of freshman students are invited to our campus on Friday, April 24, to celebrate the very important relationship they have in the lives of their grandchild.

  • 8:00-10:15 a.m.

  • St. Francis High School Campus
  • 2130 W. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton


Together, they will enjoy a special morning that includes Mass, a light breakfast, and an optional tour. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, April 17.


If your child is a freshman, please RSVP with the grandparent(s)' information. This is used to make name tags and mail a commemorative photo.

Uniform Fitting Event

A uniform fitting will be hosted by Schoolbelles from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, at SFHS. Register here!

Constellation Youth Energy Summit

Students in the Class of 2027 or 2028 are invited to apply to attend the 2026 Constellation Youth Energy Summit. Applications are due on April 10th

 

Event Details

  • When: July 12-17, 2026
  • Where: University Of Maryland, Baltimore County - participants from out of state receive transportation to the program
  • What: The Constellation Youth Energy Summit brings together young people who are interested in helping to solve America’s energy and environmental challenges through clean energy careers. 
  • Cost: Free! Participants will receive an iPad for the week, a Constellation T-shirt, and engage in learning opportunities with peers and energy professionals. Participants stay on-campus at UMBC.

Temporary West Entrance Closures (No School Days)

The west parking lot entrance will be temporarily closed for scheduled tree work during the following dates and times. During these windows, please use the east parking lot for all entry and exit.

Mike Harper Scholarship

The Mike Harper Scholarship is need-based and awarded to a rising Junior for the 2026-2027 school year. This renewable scholarship is named in honor of faculty member and former boys head basketball coach, Mike Harper, and is awarded by the Mike Harper Scholarship Committee. Criteria includes good academic standing; history of co-curricular involvement; and demonstration of financial need. The scholarship may be renewed for senior year, provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA and continues involvement and positive behavior while attending SFHS.

 

Applicants must complete the following:

  1. Copy of this year’s report card
  2. List of Co-curricular activities
  3. An original written essay of 250 words or less (double-spaced,) explaining your need for support, and if awarded, how it will assist you in your future endeavors

 

These should be attached to an email with the subject “Mike Harper Scholarship” to Janet Thelen in the Business Office at jthelen@sfhscollegeprep.org. Applications are due by April 10.

Fathers' Club Pickleball Tournament

All are invited to attend the SFHS Fathers' Club Pickleball Tournament from noon-2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Pickled in Wheaton. Cost is $20 per team and top three places receive a cash prize!

Class of 2026 - Graduation Tile

The Class of 2026 Graduation Liturgy and Commencement is 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 17, in the Spyglass Athletic Center. Detailed information is now posted in mySFHS within the Resource Board in the Class of 2026 tile.

Senior Celebration Tile

The Senior Celebration is a parent-planned event created to give seniors an unforgettable send-off before they set sail toward their next chapter. The information is kept secret from students until they receive their official invitation.


The Senior Celebration Tile is now live in mySFHS within the Resource Board. Senior parents are asked to review the tile for event details, registration information, permission slips, volunteer opportunities, deadlines for memory lane submissions, and more.


Only parents can access the tile...please keep the information secret from students!

Project Park Safely

Out of appreciation for current parents making a major gift commitment, we are offering the following options to ensure your child has an onsite parking space during the school day at the following levels. These spots will also be exempt from any parking fees that may be in place in the upcoming years:

  • $3,000: Spot for one year
  • $5,000: Spot for two years
  • $10,000: Spot for three years


We will continue to share more detailed information about the future of parking at SFHS as it becomes available.

Service Opportunity: Please consider committing to cook individually packaged meals with family or friends for those who access DuPage PADS Interim Housing Center. Residents do not have access to full kitchens and rely on volunteers to provide meals. To learn more and access a calendar to sign up for a day to cook, click here.
