Summer Day of Service

A summer day of service is available for all incoming Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! Students will depart from school at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, and return at approximately 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Dougherty and fellow faculty members will drive the group to Our Lady of the Angels in West Humboldt Park, where students will assist with the mission’s weekly food pantry in the morning. The afternoon will be spent on additional service projects around the building and grounds.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, and students will earn 11 Christian Service hours toward the upcoming school year.

Spots are limited! Click here to register. Students should come prepared with a bagged lunch, closed-toe shoes, and comfortable clothing suitable for a full day of hands-on work.

End-of-Year Reminders from Wellness Office

Rising Seniors (Class of 2027) must submit proof of the second dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine. Many students receive the second dose on or around their 16th birthday. Please check your student’s health immunization record to ensure this is complete. If the second dose is needed, please schedule this over summer break and upload it to Magnus Health under the Child Health Immunization Form field.

All Student-Athletes must submit an annual Sports Physical Exam, upload it to Magnus Health, and receive approval from the Wellness Office before they can participate. Sports physicals are good for 13 monthsStudents and parents must sign the Sports Physical Exam Form. If your child does not participate in athletics, no physical is required.

Please pick up your child's medications from the Wellness Office (epipens, etc.) after their last final. You may also give permission for medications to go home with your child by emailing sanderson@sfhscollegeprep.org. Medications not picked up are disposed of; they may not stay in the Wellness Office over the summer.
