Red Ribbon Week: October 27-31

From October 27-31, we'll celebrate Red Ribbon Week as a school under the motto of "TOGETHER - Nurturing Relationships to Make a Positive Change."

Throughout Red Ribbon Week, our goal is to emphasize the importance of teens making positive and healthy decisions for themselves and doing their part in creating a positive and inclusive community. SADD members, the Counseling Department, and various faculty volunteers have planned an exciting lineup of educational and fun activities. Please join us in encouraging student participation!

Remaining Performance Dates

  • Friday, October 17, at 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 18, at 5:00 PM

Told through the eyes of a teenager, "A Voice in the Dark: A Salem Story" is a thrilling and poignant tale from one of the darkest eras in American history. Abigail Hobbs, a shy, yet kind 15-year-old, lives a modest, happy life. But things are changing in Salem, Massachusettes. Healthy girls are becoming ill and whisperings of the devil are in the air. Two women have been hung as witches, and a third accused is missing still. When the Nurse Family, with whom Abigail is close, becomes the center of new suspicions, Abigail accidentally uncovers information that could save them. She is faced with a difficult choice: Will she remain silent and let the witch hunt continue? Or will she risk her own safety and speak out for what is right?

Parent-Teacher Conferences are Wednesday and Thursday, October 22 and 23. We use an online scheduler for parents to register for 10-minute conferences with their child’s teachers. More information was sent via email earlier this week. Registration closes at noon today, Friday, October 17.
