Happy New Year! This has been a wonderful break and I hope everyone had time for family, fun, and relaxation. Tomorrow's alarms will be startling, yes, but we are ready. Can't find those uniforms you put away in December? Tomorrow will be a spirit wear day for everyone so that we can ease into our return. Full uniforms can wait until Tuesday.
2024 is full of hope, new adventures and possibilities. As we begin this new year together, let's focus on one day at a time of being our best selves.
REMINDER - 2024-25 Registration Information
- All current students will be automatically re-registered for next year.

Now through January 7, 2024 - Priority registration for current families with NEW SIBLINGS that you wish to register. Beginning Jan. 8, all registrations will be a part of the general pool of all new registrations. New Sibling Registration

January 30, 2024 - deadline to email office@stgilesschool.org if you are NOT returning so that we do not charge you a registration fee.

February 1, 2024 - Registration fees will be posted to your FACTS account.

February 20, 2024 - $200 Registration Payment is Due. If you are set up on automatic withdrawal (ACH) in FACTS, there is no need to do anything and this will be deducted like all other payments. If you are set up with an invoice payment, you will need to log in to FACTS to pay.

We have opened registration for any siblings of current students joining us next year. Sibling registration can be found below by clicking New Sibling Registration. Current families have the first opportunity to register new students; please do so by Sunday, January 7, 2024. If you have a PreK 3 student and are returning for PreK 4, you will need to complete the PreK Schedule Selection form to choose half/full day and the days/week. Please note that registration will open to the public on Monday, January 8, 2024. Please complete the form below and contact Michele Bibbey with any questions.

Sister Marie Imelda Giving Society Reception
The Sister Marie Imelda Giving Society was created in honor of our first Kindergarten teacher here at St. Giles School. Sr. Marie was an innovator, leader and facilitator of education. This giving society recognizes donors who make annual contributions of $1500 or more to St. Giles School. Our annual SMI reception will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2023 at 6:30pm in the Rectory. If you would like to be included in this society, please finalize your contributions through the St. Giles Giving Page or check with Michele Bibbey for more details. An invitation to the SMI reception will be sent via email in the first week of January.

Preschool Soccer is back!
Saturdays 8:30-9:30 AM – St. Giles school gym located in the Corrigan building
1/27, 2/3 , 2/10, (no class 2/17), 2/24, 3/2, 3/9
This casual league brings together older St. Giles students as “coaches” for a fun hour of soccer play. This is informal — designed to give the students some exercise now that cold weather season is upon us and spend a little time with friends outside of the classroom. Added bonus: Parents can socialize and get to know one another! (This is NOT a drop-off program. A parent must remain in the Corrigan building the entire time)
Register today; spots are limited. After January 2, we’ll open the sign-up to preschoolers in the parish.

After spending the majority of my working life in corporate America, I can honestly say becoming a teacher is one of the most rewarding careers. Most people can't say they love what they do, but I look forward to teaching and getting to know the students.

On Saturday, January 20th we will be hosting the Northwest Catholic Conference 4th Grade League at St. Giles from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Basketball/Volleyball Family Season Pass: The Family Pass is back this year!
The Family Pass allows all members of your immediate family admittance to all Basketball/Volleyball games this Winter Season. The Family Pass can be purchased for $50 on the Athletic Website: Family Season Pass / Donations button at the top/right.
Event Admission at the door is $2/person for individuals over the age of ten (10).

Registration has started for our Winter groups, which begin on Jan 15th. Our group programs help children in many areas, including managing emotions such as anxiety and anger, help with self-confidence & impulse control, help regulating energy levels, improving social skills, getting organized, support in reading, planning, and executing & being school ready. Our group programs provide real-life scenarios so kids better understand and retain coping skills. Our groups are open to all children and do not require insurance or diagnosis. Kids Unlimited utilizes a 4,500-square-foot facility with three gyms and several child-focused learning spaces to produce fun and interactive programs to meet the needs of our children.
