July Schedule: Combined Service at 10:00 a.m.
During the month of July this year, we will hold two services each Sunday, at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The 10:00 a.m. service will take the place of the 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. services.Holy Hospitality Coffee Hour will continue in the parish hall after the 10:00 a.m. service. This will be a wonderful opportunity to become better acquainted with some of your fellow parishioners from "the other service!"

The 10:00 a.m. service will be Rite II, with congregational hymn singing since our choir will be on hiatus that month. Children's Sunday School will take place in the Parish Hall as usual during the first portion of the 10:00 a.m. service each week.
Reminders will be sent in various formats over the weeks before we transition to two services, but please mark your calendars for the change beginning Sunday, July 7. We will return to our regular Sunday three-service schedule on August 4.

Volunteers Needed for Summer Sunday School
Can you help teach St John's Summer Sunday School? For the summer, from now though September 8, St John's will have a "One-Room Schoolhouse" Sunday School format held in the Parish Hall during the 9:15 a.m. service (during the combined 10:00 a.m. service during the month of July). In addition to teaching the lesson, you will be responsible for bringing in an allergy-friendly snack for 10 to 15 people. It's a fun way for parents to get involved in a meaningful way (and to give our dedicated Sunday School teachers some much-needed rest!)

All lessons are available in the Parish Hall (organized by date) for you to prepare before your teaching day!

However, because health regulations prohibit the clergy from being informed when our parishioners are in the hospital, we will not know if you or someone you love is there unless you tell us. We want to provide support in any time of need or crisis. Please call the parish offices at 259.1570 or  click here to email us to let us know when you need us.

If you have a pastoral emergency when the parish offices are closed, please call 906.5199.
