January 20 Organ Recital Not To Be Missed
The first event of the New Year in our Annual Music Series will be an organ recital on Sunday, January 20  at 5:00 p.m. by Geoffrey Morgan, Organist of Christchurch Priory in the UK. Geoffrey is a former Assistant Organist of Westminster Abbey and Sub Organist of Guildford Cathedral, and is a highly regarded recitalist and liturgical organist. Simon Morley writes: "I have known Geoffrey for over thirty years, having met him during my student days in London. When I became Organ Scholar of Westminster Abbey, it was a rare privilege to work alongside him, and I credit much of what I know today regarding liturgical accompaniment to his example, embarrassed as I know he would be to hear me say it! His programs are very carefully chosen to appeal to a wide audience, so please do support this recital."

The Wednesday Nights Group  continues a a four session DVD study of The Case for Christmas on January 9.

"In The Case for Christmas, Lee Strobel investigates the story of Jesus' birth and reveals how we can know it is true. He examines the Bible's claim that Jesus was born of a virgin, some of the "puzzles" we find in the Gospel that don't seem to match up with the historical record, and the great mystery of the incarnation - how Jesus could be both fully God and fully human."

Contact Paul and Winkie Game at pgamefla@aol.com with questions about the group.
