Adult Summer Sunday School

July 12 - August 9

Join us in Pratt Hall for optional combined adult summer Sunday school. Each lesson is a stand-alone so you can attend one or all. Check with your Sunday school leadership to see if your class will continue meeting or will combine for these classes.

This week's lesson is on Prayer, taught by Jennifer Aughtman.

Guided Tour of the American Village at Montevallo

“Life in Boston” on Wednesday, July 29.

Meet at 8 AM at the church in front of the portico to caravan together on our buses(or drive separately if you wish)

Tickets for the guided tour are $12, you can purchase tickets at the door.

WHAT TO WEAR: Swim Suit and shoes that can get wet (they WILL get wet!) Also bring a towel and change of clothes if you don’t want to ride home in wet clothes

FREE DINNER: Pizza, chips, Kona Ice

Christmas in July!

Operation Christmas Child

It's time to start collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. For the month of July, we will collect washcloths, toothbrushes and hairbrushes. We will have collection bins in the narthex and at the doors near Freda's desk. We will need at least 600 of each of these items, as they go into all the boxes we pack. We are looking forward to another fantastic year of blessing others through OCC. Thank you for your generosity!

Calling all Agape Dinner Volunteers! 

Our next Agape Dinner will be held Wednesday, August 12. This dinner will celebrate and honor all First Responders. 

If you have served through Agape Dinner in the past or would like to help with this dinner, please let Faith Patton know. We will hold a planning meeting in early August.
