Sunday Worship Update
We are practicing Community Caution at this phase of the pandemic, as community spread is severe in our area (COVID Act Now source).
This means we will not gather together as a congregation for worship, but our clergy, musicians, readers, and other participants will continue to provide a live-streamed worship service at the usual time on Sundays, through February 6. The COVID Protocol Team will be meeting again in two weeks to reassess from that point.
The world may feel like it is constantly changing, but we are resilient, and our faith, fellowship, warmth, service, and journey together to discover God’s call remains the same.

STAYING HEALTHY AT CHURCH
What do you want to see as we return to church? Masks? Vaccine cards? The COVID Protocol Team wants to know in this short survey (same as sent out in yesterday's email, so no need to re-take if you already filled out!).
Free N95 masks are coming to a pharmacy near you! The Biden administration has began their rollout of three free N95 masks per citizen, available at local pharmacies, community health centers, and big brands such as CVS and Walgreens.
There are all kinds of ways you can get involved at the church – from home, in-person, even from afar! We might not all be able to get together, but we can all lend a hand and share our gifts! Check out this space each week for new opportunities:
We're always looking for more hands to help out at our food and clothing ministry, Open Hearts Cafe! Are you ready to give with wide-open hearts?
We are in urgent need of any of the following men’s clothing items to further support the Open Hearts Cafe, but particularly XL coats! Also:
Jeans (sizes 34-40)
Thermals (tops and bottoms, XL)
Boots (size 8-13)
All sizes are welcome, but please note larger sizes are especially needed! All the better for layering up! The only women’s items we need are scarves, hats, shoes, boots, and gloves. Please no other women’s items at this time.
All items can be dropped off Sundays and Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 pm, at the Walnut Street entrance to the Centennial Room.
Donations left at the doorstep without anyone from the church available to collect them are likely to get rummaged through or ruined! Please email us if you'd like to schedule a drop-off at a different time!
