Two simple easy recipes for non-SLS shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo: Mix 1 TBS baking powder to 1 cup water. This cleans and leaves your hair shiny. Conditioner: Mix 1 TBS vinegar to 1 cup water. Want them to smell wonderful, add 1 drop essential oil.

A carrier oil dilutes essential oils and "carries" them to the skin. For sensitive skin and hot oils (Clove, Thyme, Oregano, Cinnamon, Cassia and Peppermint) use a carrier oil for dilution (coconut oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil).

Visitors Center
Little Crater Lake
 
Did you know that we have a Crater Lake in our own backyard? Little Crater Lake is located on Mt. Hood in a beautiful alpine meadow full of summertime wildflowers, and is also a good spot for wildlife viewing and birding. It is accessible by a paved walkway. But the best part of Little Crater Lake is the lake, or pond, itself. It is very small but very deep, and it is "gin clear" with an iridescent blue-green color.
