Church Council

The last meeting for 2020 of Church Council will be Tuesday, December 1, at 7:00. The meeting will be virtual via Zoom. The main order of business will be assessing the implementation status of the FIT Force (Full Inclusion Task Force) and getting an update from the ART Force (Anti Racism Task Force).

All are welcome to attend.
Contact Frank Brown (chair) if you have questions.

Staff Love Offering

In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Staff Parish Relations Committee would like to take up a monetary collection for a Love Offering to be shared among the staff of Duke Memorial. It is our hope that you will prayerfully consider making a contribution this holiday season as a token of your appreciation of all that our wonderful staff does year round, keeping in mind the pivoting required in the last eight months and as we move forward. We also hope that you can do this in the same spirit in which the wise men brought gifts to our savior, Jesus, in celebration of his birth. No gift is too small and, of course, all gifts are tax-deductible.

Your gift can be in the form of a check made payable to Duke Memorial and mark it for the Love Offering and mailed to the church.
It can also be in the form of an online payment Give Now→

We thank you in advance for your gifts.
Gifts will be accepted through December 31st
A Note from Trustees

The Book of Discipline calls on the Trustees to provide oversight and care to our campus and the parsonage. Our Physical Plant Director, Joe Stevens, works closely with us to maintain our campus and grounds. Often members notice items around the church that need attention or repair. In order to make certain we can address each request we ask that all communication come through the Trustees. We have asked Joe, Heather and the rest of the staff to forward all requests to us so that we can maintain a comprehensive list to tackle as funds are available.
