Why Membership at Duke Memorial?
"Several years ago we decided to start looking for a church that was welcoming and affirming. We were both raised in families that attended church regularly but being a same-gendered couple, we weren't sure where we would be welcome. Kimbie Sprague is a family friend of mine and because we knew someone who was a member at that time, we thought we would check it out. We stayed for the community feel, female leadership, progressive message, traditional music, and because Heather said we can wear jeans to church.
Through membership, we feel we have an opportunity to share our perspectives on community, social justice, and love."
Welcome | New Staff

We are excited to welcome Scott Sublett as our new Technical Director of Worship Production. Scott and his family have been worshiping with us for a while and joined as members earlier this year in January. Scott will lead the technical side of Sunday worship ensuring that we can continue to gather together online in the midst of this pandemic. Join us in welcoming Scott to the ministry team.

Staff Love Offering

In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Staff Parish Relations Committee would like to take up a monetary collection for a Love Offering to be shared among the staff of Duke Memorial. It is our hope that you will prayerfully consider making a contribution this holiday season as a token of your appreciation of all that our wonderful staff does year round, keeping in mind the pivoting required in the last eight months and as we move forward. We also hope that you can do this in the same spirit in which the wise men brought gifts to our savior, Jesus, in celebration of his birth. No gift is too small and, of course, all gifts are tax-deductible.

Your gift can be in the form of a check made payable to Duke Memorial and mark it for the Love Offering and mailed to the church.
It can also be in the form of an online payment Give Now→

We thank you in advance for your gifts.
Gifts will be accepted through December 31st
