The Wellington Bay Whisperer

July 2022

The Countdown is On!

The countdown is on, and we are officially weeks away from opening Wellington Bay.

The chandeliers have been hung, the bar fixtures have been installed, the kitchens are all set, the sod has been laid and the pools are being filled. We are waiting for our Temporary Certificate of Occupancy to be able to stock and decorate our beautiful new club house. Sneak Peek tours are coming very soon!

Once we have our Certificate of Occupancy, we will be able to welcome all of our residents who have put their faith in us over the last 2 years. We are excited for the day we will be able to start this process!

For those of you that are still waiting, don’t wait too long. Over 70% of the apartments in the West tower have been reserved. Call today to schedule a time to choose your new home at Wellington Bay before your ideal floorplan sells out!

I began my role as Director of Sales and Marketing for Wellington Bay 3 years ago and I am beyond excited to have our community open its doorsThank you for all your patience during this journey with us. I have met and had the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people during this process. A Word from Our

Executive Director

Wellington Bay offers a luxurious senior lifestyle on a 46-acre campus with beautiful lakes, walking paths, and more. The 65,000 square foot clubhouse features restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, a wellness center, library, card room, movie theater and so much more. While all of these physical amenity spaces are wonderful, what makes Wellington Bay exceptional are the team members, both current and those soon-to-be hired.

Our residents deserve an exceptional senior living experience with an emphasis on hospitality from extraordinary team members. The leadership team and I are committed to hiring only the best of the best to join us here at Wellington Bay and are busy interviewing and extending offers to candidates who will join us soon.

We’ve hired our first housekeeper, Melissa, and our Assisted Living Administrator, Selina, both who joined us recently. Soon our Executive Chef, along with other members of the culinary team, will begin training and setting up the kitchen and restaurants.

It’s an exciting time here at Wellington Bay—a new community, a new team and a new home!

Warm regards,

Jay Mikosch

Campus Director

News from

Lisbet Health Center

Dear Wellington Bay’s future residents, family, and friends,

My name is Selina Huong Tran. I am thrilled to join the team at Wellington Bay as the Administrator at Lisbet Health Center, which we expect to open late fall of 2022. I am looking forward to providing the best possible care to our assisted living and memory care residents. Together, Wellington Bay and Lisbet Health Center will help residents maintain a very high quality of life as they age in place.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Chamberlain University in Nursing. In 2012, I decided to focus my career on geriatrics because I love to listen to, care for, and be around the older adult population. I want to make a difference in their daily lives and love seeing their smiles and laughter. I started my first job in healthcare as a nurse in a long-term care facility in 2012. I then took on the role of Director of Nursing for a 308-bed assisted living facility, and was later promoted to Administrator.

I am married and have two dogs, a 3-year-old Labradoodle and a 5-year-old Jack Russell. I love gardening, and my husband and I have grown many tropical and exotic fruit trees in our yard, including mango, jack, custard apple, star fruit, coconuts, Barbados cherry, papayas, guavas, kumquat, and dragon fruit.

It is our goal for our team to make your senior living experience memorable with outstanding customer service and hospitality. Our team’s mission is to treat our residents, family members, visitors, and others with empathy, respect, care, and support that makes everyone feel welcomed, valued, and respected as individuals. I believe my personal strengths with a strong nursing background will help my team create a unique living environment and home for our residents where we will offer the best possible care in a compassionate culture.

I look forward to meeting you!

Selina Huong Tran, R.N

Administrator of Lisbet Health Center

New Beginnings

Starting a new life in a new home is a very exciting time. Being in a new environment, making new friends and having new experiences are all part of that excitement. This is part of the reason why many of our future residents have chosen to move to Wellington Bay and enjoy the wonderful opportunities that a brand-new luxury senior living community has to offer.

The same is true for the staff and associates that will be joining us at Wellington Bay when we open our doors this summer. Many have worked in senior living and are looking for a new opportunity in a brand new community and will share in the excitement that the residents feel. They too will be making new friends and having new experiences and know that they are an integral part in contributing to the lifestyle our residents will enjoy at Wellington Bay.

Together with our residents, we have a unique opportunity that only a new community offers. We get to share the experience of creating a culture that happens when people come together from different backgrounds with a common purpose; to become the premier senior living community in Palm Beach County offering the best that luxury senior living has to offer.

With the help and the support of their teams, they can make your move to Wellington Bay a smooth and easy transition. Why don’t you consider having a consultation to see how they can help you too?
