Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Meeting yesterday, October 16! If you weren't able to attend, we have linked the presentation below.

We are excited to announce our three new resident board members, Greg Hoff (2-year term), Jill Kavoukian (2-year term), and Celeste Perkins (1-year term).

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to David Ganzel and Jerome Hall for their years of dedication and service to Wendell Falls. Their leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on our community, and we wish them all the best in their next chapters.

At the meeting, we received a question about what the other categories were on the 2026 budget slide, and those numbers are:

• Other - $113,898
• Parts & Supplies - $15,500
• Property Taxes – $400
• Other Expenses (Special Project) - $5,000
• Contingency - $92,998

Thank you to everyone who submitted a proxy for the meeting. Congratulations to the homeowner at 1208 Porters Call Drive, winner of the $100 gift card! Please stop by the on-site office during office hours to pick up your gift card.

Road Paving Work - Next Week

Additional road paving work is scheduled to take place next Monday, October 20, and Tuesday, October 21, on the streets listed below. Please make sure you use caution when driving through the neighborhood as this work takes place. While the project is expected to be completed in two days, if there is rain or bad weather, there may be delays.

Day 1

• Cardinal Pearch Lane (portion)
• Bluegrass Song Way
• Porters Call
• Barreto Drive (portion)
• Birdhaven Ln
• Alleyway

Day 2

• Mossy Falls Way
• Wash Hollow Drive
• Piney Falls Drive

No Commercial Vehicles

As a reminder, commercial vehicles may not be parked or stored in driveways, on the street, or anywhere outside of an enclosed garage.

Under the community’s governing documents, commercial vehicles include:

• Trucks or vans with company logos, advertising, or other commercial writing on them
• Vehicles primarily designed or used for business purposes
• Any vehicle displaying signs or equipment related to a business

The only exceptions are for service, construction, or delivery vehicles that are actively providing a service or making a delivery to a home, and only for the amount of time reasonably needed to complete the job.

Keeping commercial vehicles out of view helps maintain the clean, residential appearance of our neighborhood that we all enjoy. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community looking its best!

Come on out to the Grove and join us for Cinema Under The Stars tonight, October 17 at 6:30 PM! This family-friendly Halloween movie night is in partnership with the Town of Wendell. We'll be showing the modern Halloween classic Hocus Pocus, and Vic's Pizza food truck will be onsite for tasty bites. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a night of outdoor cinema magic!

Mark your calendars for our annual Trick or Trot 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 25 at 9 AM. Registration is now open using the link below! Residents can register for $30 per person, and any non-residents joining can register for $35.

Everyone who participates will receive a spooktacular finisher medal, so get ready to lace up, dress up in your costume, and enjoy a frightfully fun morning!

Get into the spooky spirit and join us for our Halloween Golf Cart Parade on Saturday, October 25, at 4 PM! The parade will start at the Farmhouse, and we encourage everyone to go all out with decorating their golf carts. Whether you’re riding bikes, scooters, wagons, or anything with wheels, we’d love to see you there. Let’s make this a fun and festive event for all!

Free chair aerobics classes are available at Central Baptist Church on Wendell Falls Parkway every Monday and Thursday at 10:30 AM. Just bring your resistance bands and light dumbbells. For more details, contact Ann Davis at 910-618-8626.
