Open Board Meeting | Thursday, March 7th

The Wendell Falls Community Association Board of Directors will be meeting in the Farmhouse on Thursday, March 7th, at 3:00 PM. While the meeting is open to the residents of Wendell Falls to attend, you may submit questions ahead of time using the button below. These questions will be answered first during an open section of the meeting. Minutes will be posted at a later date.

Reminder: Pet Etiquette

Wendell Falls prides itself on being a pet-friendly community; as such, we want to ensure basic pet etiquette is followed. Pet waste should always be disposed of properly to avoid public health and safety issues. Additionally, it has come to our attention that dogs have been sighted running loose across the community, including our parks. Keeping your dog on a leash protects not only your neighbors but also your pet. As a reminder, the dog park is the only area in the community where dogs can be off-leash. All other common areas, walking trails, and parks require dogs to always remain on a leash.

On Tuesday, February 27, Kaline Soper, Health Education Specialist at WakeMed will share valuable information on how you can make positive changes to improve your overall health.

We are excited to announce that this year, we will be introducing our first Little Leprechauns Color Fun Run as part of our St. Paddy's Day Dash event! This race will feature a short course around the farmhouse featuring fun colored powder. Participants are encouraged to wear white clothes that they don't mind getting messy so that they end the event covered in color! Due to the short distance, this event is geared towards children, but anyone is welcome to participate.

Our St. Paddy's Day 5K is quickly approaching! This green-tastic race is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to celebrate the holiday while getting outside and having fun. This year, there will be live music, beer, crafts for the kiddos, and more!

Mark your calendars! Our annual Egg-stravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, from 11 AM - 1 PM. The eggs will be scattered outside of the Lakeside Pavilion and the event lawn. Please do not search for any eggs inside the Farmhouse. We will have staggered times for each of the 4 age groups:

Group 1: Ages 2 & Under

Group 2: Ages 3 - Kindergarten

Group 3: 1st- 3rd grade

Group 4: 4th - 6th grade

We will have face painting, a balloon twister, and a flower pot activity led by Myatt Landscaping, as well as a special guest that will be making an appearance. Registration information will be coming soon!
