Open Board Meeting | March 26th at 4 PM

The Wendell Falls Community Association Board of Directors will meet in the Raleigh room located on the first floor of the Farmhouse Café on Wednesday, March 26th, at 4:00 PM. While the meeting is open to Wendell Falls residents, you may submit questions ahead of time using the button below. These questions will be answered during an open section of the meeting. Minutes will be posted at a later date.

Join us on Tuesday, March 4th at 6 PM in the Raleigh room for a fun, hands-on crafting experience with Hammer & Stain Carolina. You'll have the choice to create your very own Wooden Flower Bouquet Box or Wooden Flowers Hello Sign. Learn the art of dyeing wooden flowers and create a unique piece to take home. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun evening with friends or unwind on your own.

Join us on Saturday, March 8th for the Little Leprechaun's Color Fun Run, designed especially for kids aged 5-12! Enjoy laps around the pond by the Farmhouse as volunteers shower vibrant, colorful powder along the route for a fun "color run" experience.

Spots are limited to 50 participants to ensure safety. Check-in at our tents by the Farmhouse lawn at 8:45 AM, and the run will start at 9 AM sharp. Wear white clothes you don’t mind getting messy and get ready for some colorful fun! 

Get ready to shamrock and roll! Register for the annual St. Paddy’s Day 5k on Saturday, March 8th, at 10 AM. This green-tastic race is perfect for all ages to celebrate the holiday while enjoying the great outdoors and having fun.

After the race, stick around at the Farmhouse Café for live music, beer, and delicious eats!

Join us on Tuesday, March 11th, at 6 PM at Grove Park for an informative session hosted by Myatt Landscaping! Bring your questions! This is a great opportunity to get professional landscaping advice directly from the experts. 

Wendell Falls is partnering with The Blood Connection to sponsor a blood drive on Sunday, March 16th from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. Each donor will receive $40 in rewards, and each blood donation saves up to 3 lives! Donors must be at least 16 years old (16 & 17-year-olds need a permission slip, which will be at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds, have ID, and be in general good health. Join us in the Raleigh Room for a fun Books and Pastries event on Tuesday, March 25th, at 6 PM! Bring your gently used books to swap with others while enjoying delicious pastries. No book to trade? No worries! We'll have a table organized by genre with books for you to pick from.

Reading with Lake Myra Elementary School Students

Read and Feed is an after-school literacy program that provides free tutoring, books, and healthy meals to students who struggle with their reading skills. R&F tutors make a BIG difference in the lives of our students. No prior teaching experience is required to be a tutor, only a willingness to give kids an appetite for reading!
