Reminder: Porch/Garage Sales

Spring is now upon us, and although we understand the desire for spring cleaning throughout the community, this is a friendly reminder that, per the CCRs, yard sales, garage sales, moving sales, rummage sales, or similar activities are not permitted. A community-wide yard sale is the only exception to this rule. We’re happy to share that our next community yard sale will be in May, and more details will be shared in upcoming newsletters. In the meantime, we appreciate your cooperation in following our community guidelines and regulations. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. 

Join us on April 9th in the Raleigh Room for an interactive STEM activity where we will learn about capillary action and put it into action by making art! 

The Triangle Model Yacht Club will be hosting their model sailboat regatta at the pond behind the Farmhouse on Saturday, April 13^th. Check in will begin at 8 AM followed by a skippers meeting for the participants at 9 AM. Racing will commence at 9:15 AM.

We are partnering with The Blood Connection again to sponsor a blood drive on April 21 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Each donor will receive $50 in rewards, and each blood donation saves up to 3 lives! Donors must be at least 16 years old (16 & 17-year-olds need a permission slip, which will be at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds, have ID, and be in general good health. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will be honored first.  

In honor of Earth Day, Myatt Landscaping is sponsoring a build-your-own flower pot arrangement event at Grove Park on April 25 from 4 to 6 PM while supplies last. The event will be first come, first served. 



The Cousins Maine Lobster food truck will be at Sunset Park on March 26, from 5 to 7:30 PM, serving up some delicious food for dinner!

The Japp's Chop Shop food truck will be at Grove Park on April 4 from 5 to 7:30 PM.

They will have everything from BBQ sandwiches to ribs.

Coney Island NC food truck will be at Grove Park on April 11 from 5 to 7:00 PM. They'll have their famous hot dogs and burgers along with a variety of sides.

Stop by the Atlas Nomads food truck at Sunset Park on April 16 from 5 to 7 PM, to enjoy their delicious Mediterranean food.

The Wendell Falls Women's Group will host the Project Purple Runway fashion show event on April 21 from 2 to 4 PM in the Raleigh Room. This event is in support of The NC Domestic Violence Coalition for Fashion, Fun, and Awareness of the Many Faces of Domestic Violence.

In November of last year, one of our Wendell Falls families faced tragedy when they unexpectedly lost their child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

On June 8, residents will celebrate JJ's life with a charity 5k where all proceeds will go to First Candle, an organization dedicated to research for SIDS and helping bereaved families. Click below to learn more and to register for the 5k.
