Lawns are beginning to turn green, and the season of lawn maintenance is upon us! Curb appeal initially takes a bit of work, but it is easy to maintain once you have established your lawn maintenance. During the spring season, it's essential to continuously mow, edge and weed-eat. For some final touches, spruce up the landscape beds by removing weeds and replacing any dead plants or trees. Landscaping items and guidelines can be found in the Master Design Guidelines, which can be viewed here.

Please remember as spring is here that staining your fencing is required annually. If you have questions regarding the stain please see here.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone that has reached out and extended such a warm welcome to me this week. I am so excited to be here full-time and cannot wait to meet everyone. 

The Wendell Falls marketing team is looking for residents to participate in a lifestyle photo and video shoot. These photos will be used in future marketing materials to advertise the spirit of our community, highlighting amenities, homes, and the growing commercial areas. We are interested in a variety of talent and all types of family formations to celebrate the diversity at Wendell Falls. We need a few four-legged residents as well.

Residents will need to be available the first week of June (week of 6/6/22) to participate. The photoshoot will take place over two days, with exact dates TBD.

It's time to do some spring cleaning! We would like to invite everyone to participate in a community-wide yard sale on April 30th from 9 am until 12 pm. The Junkluggers eco-friendly waste removal service will bring their truck out to drive the community and collect all unwanted items. So if at 12 pm you are left with such items, please leave them at the end of your driveway for them to drive through and collect. However, they are limited to one truckload of items, so if they have not collected your items by later that afternoon, they were unable to collect them from you! However, we will provide their contact information in next week's newsletter and you can reach out to pay for an additional pickup if needed.
