We’re excited to welcome the Wendell Police Department and Firefighters as our special guests, highlighting the importance of building neighborhood camaraderie with our first responders. The Lake Myra Science Olympiad is seeking volunteers to assist with various events. Practices will be held on Thursday mornings before school, from 7:45 to 9 AM, starting August 22. Ideal volunteers should have an interest or background in science fields such as engineering, biology, physics, environmental science, or research, and should enjoy working with children.
