Repairs Notice and Update

Walking Bridge

We are pleased to announce that the repairs to the walking bridge on Drift Falls Lane are complete.

Paving Project

The final paving process for some of our community streets will start in mid-October. In preparation, there will be some concrete repairs around the manholes and water valves in the following streets next week: Piney Falls Drive, Birdhaven Lane, Mossy Falls Way, Wash Hollow Drive, Porters Call Drive, Bluegrass Song Way, and the southern end of Cardinals Perch Lane. This will not cause any street closures, but please exercise caution around these areas.

Community Reminders

As we move through the season together, we appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep Wendell Falls a safe, welcoming, and beautiful place to call home. Here are a few friendly reminders to help us all do our part:

  • Parking: Vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, trailers, etc.) may not park on public or private streets or in alleys within the community. Please avoid blocking sidewalks. If your vehicle doesn’t fully fit in the driveway, it should not extend more than halfway across the sidewalk. Parking in alleys is not permitted at any time. Designated striped parking spaces are available for temporary use by residents and guests, with overnight or short-term parking (up to 7 days) allowed.
  • Trash & Recycling: Garbage cans and recycling bins must be stored out of public view except on collection days. Storing them inside garages is strongly encouraged. If you’d like to add a screen for your bins, a DRC application is required for approval. Landscaping or plantings are encouraged as natural alternatives, and if a screen is used, it should be softened with evergreen landscaping on the outside. For details, view the Trash Receptacle Screening Guide.

Thank you for helping keep Wendell Falls looking its best!

Pool Season Reminder

As summer winds down, we want to remind you of the upcoming pool closure dates. The Farmhouse Pool is closed for the season, and the Perch Pool will close on Monday, September 29.

We'll see you at the pools next summer!

Unfortunately, we are cancelling our Farewell to Summer Float scheduled for tomorrow at Perch Pool due to forecasted soggy weather! However, as noted, Perch Pool remains open until Monday.

Join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, from 6 to 8 PM at the lawn beside the Tobacco Barn for a fun-filled family event! We’re excited to welcome the Wendell Police Department and Firefighters as our special guests, highlighting the importance of building neighborhood camaraderie with our first responders. Featured food trucks include La Katrina Tacos and The Popcorn Gals, and DJ Ones will be entertaining us with fantastic tunes. Come on out for a firetruck tour and other fun activities!

It's time for our annual pumpkin giveaway with Myatt Landscaping! Stop by Grove Park on Monday, October 13, at 5 PM to pick up a free pumpkin!

Please note that there is a limit of 1

pumpkin per household, and they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
