VWU Global Campus Winter Commencement Ceremony

Virginia Wesleyan University hosts its Winter 2024 Commencement Ceremony today, December 20, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center. The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of VWU’s graduating class and honor two extraordinary individuals whose lives exemplify both leadership and service: The Honorable Don L. Scott Jr., Commencement Speaker and Honorary Degree recipient and Dr. Amelia Ross-Hammond, The Wesley Award recipient.

UPCOMING EVENTS

January Term: January 3 - 24, 2025

January term, a three-week intensive term open to all VWU students and required of first and second year students, begins on January 3. During this term, students concentrate their studies on a single course. Offerings include unique courses not offered during fall or spring semesters and travel courses. Students can also fulfill needed course requirements and accelerate their academic progress.
