"Kentucky Wesleyan has had a special place in my heart since I was a child. I would not be who I am today, personally or professionally, without the experiences and relationships made possible by my alma mater.

President Darrell is making remarkable gains for Kentucky Wesleyan, and he needs all of us, too. Even small gifts add up and make a huge difference in the lives of students who will someday step onto our campus."

What were your first impressions of Kentucky Wesleyan?
"From my first time visiting campus, there was something special about Wesleyan. The campus is beautiful, there is a rich tradition and there was a "buzz" of excitement that you could sense and feel."

Describe a typical day in your office.
"A typical day consists of data analysis, projecting, forecasting and managing a phenomenal staff. I work with a great group of people and that makes my job easy. What many people do not understand about admissions is that you are always working ahead of the rest of the College. For instance, this spring I am completing our marketing, enrollment and event campaigns for our fall 2018 class. So things can be a bit quirky in Admissions, but that's what makes every day great."

What do you most enjoy about your responsibilities?
"I am a numbers-driven person. Therefore, analyzing data and projecting and building a detailed model of how we will achieve our goals is what I enjoy most."

What are your goals for Admissions in 2017?
"We have set some large goals for ourselves. I knew coming into this position Wesleyan wanted to grow enrollment and that starts with us. Our 2016 freshman class was up 12% over the prior year. I see no reason why we cannot have the same sort of increase this year."

Why do you give to Kentucky Wesleyan?
"I give to Wesleyan because I believe in the mission of the College, and I want to invest in our students. From my initial meeting with President Darrell, he has been someone I believed in. I knew I could help him carry out his vision for Wesleyan. By giving, I feel I am helping President Darrell's vision become a reality."
