Celebrate the Season
Wesleyan Way Day of Service, Nov. 27, and Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28

Giving Tuesday and the Wesleyan Way Day of Service are around the corner! The two-day event has become an annual tradition. The College community has performed 492 hours of service and helped raise $260,526 for Wesleyan the past two years. Help us eclipse  300 hours and raise at least $150,000
this year!

Get involved in the Wesleyan Way Day of Service by contacting the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@kwc.edu. We encourage you to participate wherever you are and however you can! As you serve, report back to us, so we can include you in
our totals.

Participate in Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28 by visiting kwc.edu/give, stopping by to see us in Room 105 or 109 at the Barnard-Jones Administration Building, or by calling 270-852-3142.

Encourage others to serve and give by using #WesleyanServes and #WesleyanGives on social media. Every volunteer matters . . . every dollar counts.

Honoring Our Veterans

Join us to honor our veterans on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 12:12 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel. Local attorney Jesse Mountjoy will present "In Normandy-July 1944 and June 2001." He will share memories of visiting Normandy in 2001 to honor the memory of his father, a 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps, who gave his life on a Norman farm in the summer of 1944. The ceremony is free and open to the public and will  feature music by the Kentucky Wesleyan Singers.

A Look Back at Homecoming 2017

Take a look back at some of the highlights of Homecoming 2017, which was celebrated on campus and throughout the Owensboro/Daviess County community the weekend of Oct. 6-8.

It was certainly a weekend to remember. We thank all who participated and congratulate all of our honorees, Alumni Hall of Fame and Athletic Hall of Fame inductees.

Mark your calendars and don't miss Homecoming 2018 - Sept. 28-30.

George Tinsley '69 Featured at November's Rooster Booster

Panther great George Tinsley '69, featured speaker at the November Rooster Booster event, reflected on his humble beginnings as a seven-month old adoptee in Louisville and his successes as president and CEO of PenGeo, Inc., and Tinsley Group, Inc. in Winter Haven, Fla.

He reminisced about the strength of the Wesleyan community and the sense of brotherhood he and his former Panther basketball teammates share.

Chris '10 and Ashley (Braun) Gendek '09

"We feel very strongly about giving back to an institution that has given us so much. As recipients of scholarships from Wesleyan, we recognize the importance of the General Scholarship Fund. If our contributions can help at least one student, we have succeeded in our goal. We also believe in the four tenets of the Wesleyan Way, especially 'We Support Each Other.' What better way to support current and future Panthers than by giving."
