Jeffrey D. White '72
Glen Allen, Va.

"I give to Wesleyan so others can experience what I did at Wesleyan. I appreciate the College and what it did for me more now than I did when I was a student. Kentucky Wesleyan matured me and inspired me, and I learned how to think while there. Private colleges offer something special, and I benefited from the experience. Private colleges need support. I owe it to Wesleyan to give back. I have to give back."

White recently established the White-Schmeal Endowed Scholarship to honor his friend and former college roommate, Charles "Chuck" Schmeal '72. The scholarship will be awarded each year to a student majoring in a business discipline.

by alumni and friends of the College.

"Our students are influenced by her intellect, experiences, and passion for music and . . . her love and enjoyment of people and life."
President Barton D. Darrell

Kentucky Wesleyan College Recognized by The Princeton Review and Washington Monthly

For the 13th year in a row, Kentucky Wesleyan is one of the best colleges in the Southeast, according to The Princeton Review. The well-known education services company lists Wesleyan among its "Best in the Southeast" schools. The "regional best" lists constitute the top 25% of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges.

Washington Monthly recognized the College as the top institution for a bachelor's degree in Kentucky, and No. 33 in the nation. This set of rankings is based on an institution's contribution to the public good in three categories: social mobility, research and service.

A New Look for Panther Athletics

"We sought to create a new mark to establish a consistent brand for Kentucky Wesleyan Athletics and connect the visual direction of the College," shared Athletic Director Rob Mallory. "This new brand achieves that and pays tribute to the past with a modern, fresh look."

The Panther mark is similar to the previous logo with a strong, sharp image and clear facial features to soften the transition from the old look, which is still displayed in prominent locations across campus. Wesleyan's hats and helmets will include the newly designed "W" to maintain and enhance the brand equity and tie the College to its proud traditions.
