 Celebrate Homecoming Oct. 6-8
Kentucky Wesleyan College will celebrate Homecoming 2017 on campus and throughout the Owensboro community the weekend of Oct. 6-8.  The weekend events surround the Panthers' home football game versus Great Midwest Athletic Conference newcomer Walsh University on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. CT.

In addition to the game, Homecoming activities include the annual Alumni Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner, Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner, Golden Jubilee celebrations for the Class of 1967's 50 th Reunion, golf tournaments benefiting the Panther Athletic Fund and Sigma Nu fraternity, Wesleyan Singers concert, tailgate and food truck rally, the return of the Sweetheart Brunch and more.

Owensboro Riverfront Painted Purple for
Friday After 5

We had a great time at Friday After 5 on August 25! Thank you of our students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and families for once again creating a sea of purple and showcasing The Wesleyan Way!

Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2017
 "President Darrell is putting his heart and soul into making Wesleyan the best
on many levels. We should all help him in this quest."

A.J. Smith retired in 2015 after 30 years as one of the National Football League's top executives. He received the NFL Executive of the Year Award in 2004.

He was a recipient of the Kentucky Wesleyan College Alumni Achievement Award in 2010 and a member of the College's inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class in 2013.

Homecoming 2017.
Track and Field Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Community Partnership
The world-class facility will be home to Panther track teams, and was a joint effort between Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Public Schools, and Owensboro Health.

Mike and Janna (Duncan) DeMarsh '87
"We believe it is important to help continue the growth of small Christian-based colleges, and there is no better place to support than Wesleyan. That is the very reason I encourage other alumni to give.
Even though Mike is not a graduate of Wesleyan, everyone welcomes Mike to campus and to alumni events, and he is as supportive of the Wesleyan mission as I am."

Move-In Day
Kentucky Wesleyan College celebrated the arrival of the Class of 2021 and their families on Saturday, Aug. 19. Faculty, staff, student leaders and alumni greeted them with a warm Wesleyan welcome, and students settled into their new home with a number of orientation activities.

Nationally-Acclaimed Linkin' Bridge
Highlights Opening Convocation

Kentucky Wesleyan College celebrated Opening Convocation 2017 on Tuesday, Aug. 29, and did so in style at Owensboro Christian Church. A concert by 2016 "America's Got Talent" finalists, Linkin' Bridge, was the highlight of the evening with the a cappella group from Louisville sharing their stories and musical talents with the Wesleyan family. President Barton D. Darrell '84, SGA President Lucas Butler, and Director of Campus Ministries Shawn Tomes '94 shared welcomes and keynote messages before a show-stopping performance by soloist Jonathan Poland '18 and the Wesleyan Singers.
