Dog Park Safety Updates

Our pets are some of our most active neighbors, and their safety is a priority as we continue to grow. To ensure the dog park remains a secure place for every four-legged friend to play, we are moving forward with a proactive update to the play area.

Prioritizing Pet Safety

You will soon notice the addition of temporary fencing throughout the active dog park. This measure is designed to keep pets secure and contained during the interim period as we prepare for the next phase of community improvements. These boundaries provide peace of mind for owners and a safe environment for pets to run freely.

The Path to Growth

The Windler Way is a shared promise to lead with kindness and solve problems with warmth. By installing this temporary boundary, we are ensuring the park stays functional and fun until the permanent pergola is constructed. We are excited about the shaded space this future amenity will provide and appreciate your patience as we take these steps to keep our park a place where everyone, even our four-legged family members, belongs.

Illuminating Neighborhood F:

Streetlight Update

Our development team has notified us that all street and pedestrian lights in Neighborhood F are now fully energized and functioning. Well-lit streets and walkways are vital to ensuring our neighborhood remains a secure and welcoming place for evening strolls. These lights provide the peace of mind that allows everyone to enjoy our outdoor spaces at any hour.

Navigating Growth Together

Living in a growing community often comes with unique "growing pains," and we are grateful for your understanding as our teams work to ensure every installation is completed correctly.

Chai Blending Class - 3 spots left!

Saturday, March 21 | 11am-1pm

Real Chai is more than a tea bag—it is a symphony of spice and a soul-warming ritual. We are thrilled to welcome Journey Chai this Saturday for a hands-on workshop designed to help you master the art of the perfect cup.

The Experience

Because we believe the little things matter most, this sensory workshop invites you to slow down and connect. You will explore the "Golden Ratio" of spices like peppercorn and cardamom, discovering how to balance bold black teas with traditional simmering techniques.

You will leave with your own unique blend and the confidence to infuse a little extra kindness into your daily morning routine.

Ready to blend?

With only three spots remaining, please reach out to our Lifestyle & Communications Director, Daniela Calvo, at daniela.calvo@advancehoa.com to secure your registration.

Resident Orientation & Social

Tuesday, April 14 | 6-8pm

At Windler, the little things matter most. From a warm wave to intentional gestures, these moments turn a neighborhood into a community. As new families move in, we are excited to host an in-person gathering to welcome our neighbors and grow together.

We will begin with a brief orientation to help you navigate life at Windler and our shared "norms." Afterward, we will transition into a social hour to meet those living alongside you, spark friendships, and celebrate the diverse stories that make our community unique.

Since we are gathering after work, we will provide food and drinks. If you have dietary restrictions or need assistance, please email our Lifestyle & Communications Director, Daniela Calvo, at daniela.calvo@advancehoa.com.

A New Partner in the Neighborhood

A community is more than just streets and houses; it is the people who make it truly feel like home.

As the City of Aurora continues to grow, the police department recently completed a city-wide redistricting process to ensure resources are balanced across all new and expanding communities.

This update ensures every neighborhood receives the right level of support. For Windler, this means we have a new Police Area Representative, or PAR officer, dedicated specifically to our area: Officer Thompson.

Understanding the PAR Officer Role

A PAR officer is a specialized member of the Aurora Police Department who focuses on community policing rather than just responding to emergency calls. Their purpose is to impact the way residents view and treat each other by fostering a sense of security and pride in calling Windler home.

  • PAR officers act as a direct liaison between our neighborhood and the police department.
  • They focus on long-term problem solving and "quality of life" issues within the community.
  • They prioritize building personal relationships with residents to identify and prevent concerns before they arise.
  • Their work ensures that Windler remains a place that "does things the right way".

Building Connections Early

The Windler Way is our shared promise to live with intention, kindness, and curiosity. We believe the little things matter most, and that includes getting to know the people who help keep our streets safe. To start these connections early, we are currently working to schedule a Coffee with a Cop event here in the community.

This will be a relaxed opportunity for you to meet Officer Thompson, ask questions, and share what makes our neighborhood special. We are committed to communicating with clarity and consistency, so please watch for the official date and time in our upcoming alerts.
