Windward hosted Homecoming on October 22, 2022. More than 150 alumni, alumni parents/guardians, faculty, staff, and friends attended this fun event at the Westchester Middle School campus.
The day started with our College Planning Seminar. Our guest speaker, Daniela Rosenblatt, helped parents understand and navigate the often-complicated process from high school to college. Click here to view the presentation in its entirety or go to the alumni page of the school’s website.
The 4th Annual Westchester vs. Manhattan soccer game was a huge hit with Manhattan taking the win while everyone enjoyed pizza and ice cream food trucks.
Our 2nd Annual Faculty/Staff vs. Alumni kickball game was a battle until the end, ultimately with another faculty and staff victory. Mr. Eberhard said, “It was a great day to see our alumni and hear about their journey since leaving Windward. They were so happy to be back, and we were all so excited to see them.”

It was a special year for some of our alumni who were celebrating their 35 year reunion.

|
Mark your calendars for an amazing evening with our alumni!
|
Celebrate our high school seniors and hear from a panel of alumni and alumni parents as they discuss the college process and navigating college life.
There will be a light reception with food and drinks before and after the panel discussion.
All alumni in grades 10, 11, and 12 and their families are invited.
Both events will have the same program, and you may attend either.

Did you know?
Do you know where the name Windward came from? In 1926, two teachers –Agnes Inglis and Eleanor Foster – and a parent, Isabel Greenbaum Stone, formed a progressive day school with 21 students in an old real estate office in New Rochelle. They called it, "Windward," because sailing windward requires more skill, effort, and persistence than sailing before the wind.
