"A collaborative effort brewed with the great people Yakima Chief Hops, our primary hop supplier. This beer is brimming with Citra® Hop character. We used YCH Trial 702 which is a late stage whirlpool extract product as well as CO2 extract in the kettle, we then dry hopped with select lots of T90, Citra Cryo™ pellets and Citra American Noble™ hop pellets. This beer is delightfully soft on the pallet with flavors and aromas of peach, lychee, citrus fruits and excellent hop "green" character but without the harshness or bitterness."

"Shreddy Krueger is the West Coast version of our 5.5% house IPA Master Shredder. Yes. You heard correctly, the West Coast version. Shreddy Krueger was the alternate name for our beloved Master Shredder during its infancy. This mash up was a request/idea that our Lead Cellarman/Assistant Brewer Josh(aka Jehou) came up with. Josh, like most of us here at The Veil, dig that cleaner West Coast style yeast profile and a tiny bit of bitterness from time to time. We thought it would be a fun experiment and we are happy we did it! We started by brewing a small batch on our new pilot system of the original recipe of Master Shredder, then instead of pitching our house ale yeast we use for majority of our hoppy beers, we pitched San Diego Super yeast(a common yeast used in production of West Coast IPAs). Bright amber appearance with the most subtle bitterness, fresh citrus peel, stone fruit flesh, and slight pine character."

Hopped with Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic cryo and El Dorado and Galaxy t-90's (still waiting for galaxy cryo to exist, let's make it happen!). While Mylar Bags has big deep dank fruity notes on a full palette this version is more bright and punchy and slightly less green."

"It is, quite simply, a wonderful beer. It is exceedingly pale (21-22 units colour), with just a hint of colour in its cheeks from the dash of crystal malt. It has a massive orange fruit aroma from the challengers, balanced by

Juicy malt and tart hops vie for attention in the mouth while the finish is tart and hoppy but well balanced by creamy malt. The bitterness rating is a substantial 36-38. The tangy fruit lingers on the back of the tongue until it develops a hint of orange liqueur.
