A Message from the President
Greetings! It’s only February and we’ve accomplished SO much already! We hit the ground running in 2020 with several programs and events (more on those below) and a ski trip that sold out in record time. And in just a few weeks, we will be celebrating all of our incredible accomplishments over the 2019-2020 Chapter year at our Annual Meeting. This year we’re hoping to use the Annual Meeting not only to take a quick look back and conduct our brief Chapter “business,” but also to eat, drink, and be merry! We truly want this event to be a celebration of the people—like you—who make this Chapter special. If you haven’t already, please register for this event to join us in the networking and merriment.

The new year is also a perfect time to make sure your membership status and other details are up to date with our Chapter and with CoreNet Global. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to renew your membership or sponsorship. If you’ve changed jobs recently, update your profile on the CoreNet Global website. There you can also sign up to receive text message updates from Global and our Chapter, or simply text “CORENET” to 31996 to enroll. Remember, too, to check out our Monday morning emails to see job openings and other opportunities within the New England CRE community.

See you at the Annual Meeting!

Leadership 2.0 Class Leads the Way
This year’s Leadership 2.0 participants are gearing up for their final presentations on March 4. After months of sessions and discussion on the principles of leadership, communication, and other skills, each team will draw on what they’ve learned to present a case study on the rise and fall of Theranos and its founder, Elizabeth Holmes. It’s a fascinating story, and the panel of reviewers cannot wait to hear their analyses. We will also be celebrating this group’s accomplishments by recognizing their graduation at this year’s Annual Meeting.

Congrats to the 2019-2020 class!
