GMES has partnered with NUVO to streamline our credit application process. Our website is now updated with the automated credit app option, which will speed up the review and approval process going forward.

Each salesperson should have received a unique link to give out to their customers, so when a customer completes a credit application you sent out, you are notified automatically as it goes through the process and gets approved.

The Depew "Twenty-Niners" Tie-Dye Event

In mid-October, BR 29 (the "Twenty-Niners") participated in a Team Building Tie-Dye event.

The staff had an absolute blast and the feedback on it was great! It was really nice to see everyone talking and laughing.

The staff even coordinated a day to show off their shirts together!

GMES Safety Update

In the month of October GMES had 2 damage or injury related accidents, and three vehicle related accidents. As we move into the winter months it is important to be hyper-aware of your surroundings, especially while operating any GMES vehicles. As we all know the winter months in our territories can prove to be fairly cold, snowy, and ice. Please keep road conditions in mind while driving vehicles, and be sure proper maintenance of sidewalks, walkways, and parking lots is being kept up with the reduce the risk of injury.

GMES Learn Hard Play Hard Employee Training Spiff

October was the month we had our internal “Learn Hard Play Hard” Paylocity training promotion, and the results of learning hard speak for themselves. GMES as a whole was able to achieve an overall training completion rate of 87%, and we haven’t seen a number that high in almost 2 years!

A BIG Congrats to everybody who put the effort in to get to that 87% completion rate, winners of the promotion will be announced the first week of November.

Annual GMES Pumpkin Carving Contest!

The pumpkin contest is official done and completed. Thank you to all who participated in this contest. HR will be compiling a poll where YOU get to vote for your favorite pumpkin later in the week!

Keep an eye out for that announcement to get your vote in!

The pumpkins with the Top 3 highest votes, will receive a GMES Fleece Blanket! (See below).

Turkey Trot

Kick off Thanksgiving weekend by joining us for our second annual virtual Turkey Trot 5k run/walk! This is a FREE family-friendly event, so grab your flock and run (or walk) the distance wherever you want!

You can join us from any neighborhood, in any city, and complete the race on your own schedule.

Here's what you need to know:

Date: The race will be held on Thanksgiving weekend (11/23 - 11/26). You can pick a day and time that works for you to complete the 3.1 miles outside or on a treadmill!

Cost: ZERO!!

Who can participate on race weekend: Any GMES employee and family/friends!

How to register: To register yourself and your guests, email hr@gmes.com by 11/15.

Participation includes: A GMES logoed pom winter hat and GMES shades. Family members and friends will also receive those items, which will be distributed a week before race weekend.

The goal is to get people moving! There are other ways of getting a 5k, such as spinning, biking, and hiking. Please mail hr@gmes.com if you wish to participate in an alternative activity.

Dentist/Primary Care incentive:

Did you know you can get paid to see your primary care and dentist!?!

Forms are located on the Sharepoint - Documents - Human Resources - Benefits - Dental-Health Incentive and should be returned to HR@gmes.com. The $50 incentive will be given out as green coins in Bucketlist once BOTH visits have been completed and submitted to HR. This is open to ANY employee regardless of whether you are on the GMES Health plan or not.

Annual Gym/Fitness reward:

At GMES You can receive a one-time $50 reimbursement for expenses related to an in-person gym membership or virtual membership that is purchased in 2023. Save your receipt and submit to HR@gmes.com. Receipt must include a 2023 date, employee name if possible, and gym/program name. Rewards will be sent through Bucketlist as green coins. If you have any questions about whether a membership is eligible, please email HR.
