Giving Back at Thanksgiving & Christmas

West Houston Assistance Ministries provides help year-round to families in crisis. The need is never greater than it is during the holiday season.

Fortunately, generosity is also greater during the holiday season. If you, your family, your church small group, your office or  even your buddies at the gym want to assist families in need, WHAM is ready to accept your donation and make sure it is delivered to an individual or family in need.

Please consider donating canned vegetables, pie filling, boxed stuffing and cakes mixes, which will be organized into holiday boxes for WHAM clients. Or you can donate new toys, gift cards, coloring books, crayons and educational toys, which will ensure that every child in the area has a gift under the tree this Christmas.

The deadline for toy donations is December 6. Food donations will be accepted through the second week of December.

If you'd like to host a toy drive or food drive, please contact Sonya Scott or Lisa Iparrea at WHAM.
