A Message from the President
Joe Peikert, President and CEO
Joe Peikert, President & CEO
Summer will arrive... I keep saying that eventually the weather will catch up to the calendar. Yet it seems at mid-May we have only had small slivers of the sweet taste of summer. The benefit that we do get regardless of the weather is longer daylight as we march towards the summer solstice next month.

What do banks do during the summer months? In addition to our customer appreciation picnic we have coming up, we will be with you for all of the fun that summer brings. Be sure to watch for us at community events like youth baseball and softball, fun runs, fireman’s fests, summer homecoming events, fireworks, parades, concerts, etc.

We are also in that time of year for weddings, graduations and vacations. If you need some cash for a new boat, a landscaping project, or a summer vacation, we can assist you with either a loan or savings plan to help ensure you have the finances that you need.

Nicer weather this time of year also spurs activity for house hunting. Home loan rates are still favorable. If you or someone you know is looking for a first home, planning to build, upsize or downsize, we have experts that can help. We do pre-qualification letters, construction loans and traditional mortgage loans.

What are your summer plans?

WRCB Participates in
"Teach Children to Save Day"

April 12th was National "Teach Children to Save Day!" This day is celebrated annually during "Community Banking Month" as a way for bankers to show their commitment to community by teaching young people the value of saving.
Jenni Badtke visited Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class at Readfield Elementary school to read "You Can't Buy a Dinosaur with a Dime." She also taught the class a lesson about saving.
THIS is Community Banking
Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup
During Earth Day-week, a group of WRCB employees, along with their families and other community volunteers cleaned up the banks of the Wolf River and Pfeifer Park in New London as part of the Fox-Wolf Watershed cleanup. The overall effort included 1,000+ volunteers cleaning the banks of the Fox and Wolf Rivers from Green Bay to Oshkosh! WRCB was proud to be a sponsor!
Serving a Meal at Mission of Hope House New London
Mission of Hope House
A group of WRCB employees donated and prepared a meal for the residents of the Mission of Hope House in New London. The Mission of Hope House provides temporary emergency and crisis housing for men, women and families.
The Pitch at Greenville Middle School
The Pitch
Volunteers from WRCB served as mentors for 130 8th graders at Greenville Middle School's "The Pitch" event. Groups of middle schoolers had to form "companies" that sold a unique product or service, come up with logos, taglines, mission statements, financials, marketing, etc. and had to "pitch" their idea to their peers and a panel of judges. Wolf River Community Bank was proud to sponsor this event.
out of wallet questions in online banking
Have you noticed our
increased online security?

If you've used the "Forgot Password" option to login to your Online Banking account in the last couple of weeks, you've likely been asked a few "out-of-wallet" questions. These questions are unique to you and are used to verify your identity before allowing you access to your online banking. Although this is an added step, it's there to protect your financial information.
Please contact us with questions!
