The Women's Fund Announces 2022 Grants Program
Exciting news! The Women’s Fund is now accepting applications for its 2022 grants program! The Fund’s grant program focuses on building economic security for those who identify as women and girls in Forsyth County. Organizations can apply for a maximum of $15,000.

The Fund seeks to support work that is:

  • designed with a focus on increasing economic security and or mobility for those who identify as women and girls.
  • designed to benefit and positively impact those who identify as women and girls
  • making an impact in Forsyth County, NC.
  • being implemented by a 501 (c)(3) organization, a government or public agency, or a faith-based organization.

We hope you notice that our application looks and feels different this year. The Fund’s Grants Committee has worked to create a more informal, inclusive, and equitable application process for prospective grantees. The goal is to ensure that our application process does not take away from the invaluable time prospective grantees dedicate to their work in the community. As a result, we’ve kept questions to a minimum, and those completing the application form have the opportunity to tell us about their work in the way that feels best for the organization. 

Don’t just take our word for it. We encourage you to look through the application form to see the changes for yourself and let us know what you think. Please share this opportunity with organizations doing impactful work to support those who identify as women and girls, and encourage them to do the same and apply!

The deadline to apply is midnight, Wednesday, July 13.

We have five membership options that differ only by donation amount. Regardless of which option you choose, you will have an equal vote in our grantmaking process and access to all our offerings throughout the year.

  • Sustaining Member: $1,200
  • Supporting Member: $600
  • Associate Member: $100
  • Full-time Student Member: $25
  • Complimentary Membership (see below)

Thank you so much to our 2022 Women's Fund members who have renewed or joined as a member for the first time. The Women's Fund is especially grateful to our donors who have gone above and beyond by paying it forward for those who may not have the financial means to join as a Fund member.

If you do not have the financial resources at this time to join or renew your membership, The Women's Fund invites you to request a complimentary membership. Every woman's voice matters, and it's critical to ensure local women who are closest to the issues we work on have the opportunity to help lead this work and vote on funding decisions.
Honor the Special Women & Girls in your Life with a Tribute Gift
Honor the women in your life who inspire you by making a tribute gift today! With a gift of $50 or more, your honoree and you will be listed on the Women’s Fund's website for the seventeenth annual luncheon. (Gifts must be received by October 31st to be listed on the website). In addition, a special letter from The Women’s Fund will be sent to your honoree to let them know of your gift. There is no limit to the number of people you can recognize with a donation of $50 or more for each of your honorees.

All tribute gifts provide direct support for our mission - to provide economic security for those who identify as women and girls in Forsyth County.
Save the Date - The Women's Fund 17th Annual Luncheon
It's time to save the date for The Women's Fund's 17th Annual Luncheon - Reemerge. Recommit. Reimagine. - on Wednesday, November 16th from noon to 1:30 pm.

After two years of celebrating virtually, we are hopeful that we'll have the opportunity to gather safely in person again this fall in a way that allows our supporters to more purposefully reconnect with each other in smaller group settings and talk directly with some of our 2022 grant recipients to learn about their incredible impact.
